Sour

Beer is an alcoholic beverage created through the brewing and fermentation of starches derived from cereal grains, most commonly malted barley. This process involves converting starches into sugars to create wort, which is then fermented by yeast to produce ethanol and carbonation. Hops are frequently added to impart bitterness and flavor, also serving as a preservative.
