This was one of the most disappointing experiences I had at an Indian restaurant in Amsterdam.
For an average dinning experience, the food was overpriced and didn't taste good. Chicken 365 was dry and only the outer coating tasted of strong spices but there was no flavour inside.
Bhuna Ghosht was okay, less quantity for the price and one could easily taste the sweetness of store-bought like tomato puree. Atleast the lamb was well cooked.
However, the most shocking was Prawns Koliwada - 3 prawns for a 12 euros starter??? As someone who is from the region this dish belongs to, I was extremely disappointed. Masala chai was their best item and the staff was friendly.
The pictures are deceving, however, taste isn't worth the money. I don't think I will be visiting or recommending this place.
We had a great experience at this restaurant! We were two people and ordered the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. Soo delicious. The service was excellent, and the waitress was very attentive and happy to accommodate our requests. We can definitely recommend this place without hesitation
We came in for lunch and had the most delicious samosa chaat. The stewardess took care of our baby daughter while we ate. We have never experienced such kindness. We will certainly return here! (And our picky daughter loved the pani puri here).
me and my boyfriend went to 29 spices and we enjoyed a really lovely romantic evening. the traditional indian food was simply amazing. we couldn’t get enough, so we also ordered the delicious samosa’s. the typical indian atmosphere was enticing. i would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves indian food.
Had dinner here for my birthday 2 weeks ago with four of my friends and it we had a great time. The service was very kind and the food was very good. We were with some vegetarian people at our party so it was good to see the many vegetarian options. We all shared different dishes, all were very good. I would especially highly recommend the mango lassi.
