Customer Perception
Customers consistently praise 50 Kalò for having some of the best pizza outside of Italy, often described as outstanding, full of flavor, and made with good quality ingredients. The dough is frequently highlighted as incredibly light and easy to digest, even for those who usually feel overfull. Service is generally warm, efficient, and friendly, with staff often making guests feel at home. While the location is fantastic, some note it can get crowded with tables placed quite close together. Prices are considered fair given the prime location and quality.
The original 50 Kalò in Naples is one of only six pizzerias included in Italy's Michelin Guide, underscoring the brand's high culinary standards. The London branch has been recognized as the best pizzeria in London for five consecutive years by Gambero Rosso, receiving their '3 slices' award.

Without a doubt, this is the best pizza in Central London. Knowing that the restaurant originates from Italy adds to the authenticity of the experience.
The location is fantastic, situated right in the heart of the city, and the pizza is consistently outstanding. Our favorites include the Buffalo Efiopa, the White Base, and the Diavolo—all of which never disappoint.
What truly makes this place special is the team. Everyone is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. We especially want to mention Giada, who consistently delivers exceptional service and makes every visit enjoyable.
It’s always a pleasure when the staff recognize us and make us feel at home. This is exactly the kind of place that keeps you coming back again and again.
Highly recommended!
Really nice Pizza and salad. It was busy so I recommend booking but you may get lucky. I was drawn to this place due to the numerous awards they've won and I wasnt dissapointed. I dont really like Pizza but this was good. Full of flavour and good quality ingredients. Cant ask for more. Plus reasonably priced, especially considering the location. No parking on site. Staff were friendly. I'll be back again with a pizza lover for another pizza and to try out the dessert menu.
Possibly the best pizza outside of Italy - only one place in Rome has edged it for us, and we’ve been to a lot of highly rated pizzerias across Italy and Naples. The pizza itself is beyond reproach: the sauce is full of flavour and tastes genuinely fresh. Service was warm and efficient, the order came out fast, and the homemade desserts were a great finish. Exceptional.
Fantastic location, but the pizza missed the mark for me.
The location is absolutely awesome, right in Trafalgar Square, the heart of London! Because of this, the place gets a bit crowded and the tables are placed quite close together. However, the service was great; the staff were friendly, and our orders arrived extremely fast. The prices are also very fair, considering the prime location and the overall quality.
My only real disappointment was the pizza itself, specifically the Quattro Formaggi (four cheese). One of the cheeses had a very strong flavor and seemed to be added after the pizza was baked, so it wasn't melted. Another cheese was just a crispy piece on top (also quite strong). While it wasn't bad, I was expecting something more traditional. The dough was also a bit drier than a classic Neapolitan crust. Next time, I’ll stick to something traditional like a Margherita!
A true taste of Naples right in Trafalgar Square!
The pizza here is excellent and incredibly light, even for someone like me who usually feels overfull. I expected a classic Neapolitan, but it’s actually more of a ‘ruota di carro’ style, larger and thinner, but not too much, which makes it very easy to digest. I even ate the mozzarella, which I normally never do!
The moment you walk in, the scent of pizza and Italy completely takes over. There is a beautiful, massive open oven, and the location in Trafalgar Square is fantastic, even if the interior is quite simple. The staff, all Italian girls, were very lovely and polite.
Our first choice in London has always been Vasinikò, and now it’s hard to compare them because they are so different; they might both be in first place!
Napoli on the Road has moved down to third; if I have to choose a Neapolitan pizzeria, I wouldn't pick them over these two. Also, I really liked that they offer the option of adding parmesan on the pizza. We will definitely be back!
