I was recommended this restaurant under the title of a nice family restaurant, it was exactly that.. So homey that the main cook was Mike the microwave. We were greeted at the door by the father of the family who seated us. We ordered the bruschetta that had different toppings that they called fantasy bites: One with tuna and caramelized onion, the tuna was canned which was unfortunate but the onions turned into almost jam which changed a letdown to a very nice bite. The second one was one with blue cheese walnuts and honey. For me the gorgonzola was unnoticeable as the honey overpowered the bite. Later on came "chef" Mike's special touch on the melanzana. Inconsistent heat throughout the dish, but the taste felt very good if not for the heat issue. For my main I ordered the lasagna, even here the chefs kiss was noticeable. But here also the pasta sheets were overcooked. My girlfriend ordered the clam lemon pasta, here the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was flavorless.. For dessert we got offered "lemon tiramisu" which sounded very delicious as we are in lemon County. What we got was a sponge cake with sloppy piping of cream. Overall, the service was very nice but the food was not at its prime. 2/5

The owners are lovely people, but this is the restaurant that gave me the worst experience in Sorrento. The appetizers were reasonable, the eggplant melanzana and lasagna were microwaved before being served, which was very noticeable. The homemade pasta with clams was tasteless, lacking sauce and with a strong fishy smell. For dessert we ordered lemon tiramisu, which wasn't really tiramisu, it was a sponge cake with a drizzle of lemon cream that didn't taste good. Not recommended.
This was the only restaurant I visited twice during my trip to Italy.
The daughter-in-law who took our order was incredibly kind and professional.
The friendly couple who run the place cook everything themselves, and their passion for fresh ingredients shows in every dish.
I especially recommend this restaurant to Korean travelers, as they can adjust the spiciness of the pasta to your taste.
My girlfriend kept saying how delicious it was throughout the meal, and even back at home, she couldn’t stop talking about it—so we ended up coming back.
A hidden gem in a quiet alley of Sorrento.
Wow...what a culinary experience!
Everything handade by a family that runs this small 8 table restaurant. We were sitting right beside the open kitchen talking to them while they were cooking. Everything was delicious. No less than 3 different styles on marinara in the same meal, between the four of us. Just such an honestly friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Well done!

This small family run restaurant is possibly one of the best dinners we had this year and probably ever in Italy. The food was unquestionably perfect, the bottle of wine recommended paired well with our meal, and the staff was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Even without a reservation we only waited 10 minutes and were seated close to closing time. The cannelloni special was phenomenal. 100% would recommend if you have a small enough group (I think the one large table seats 5-6 people). On top of all of that the price was surprisingly affordable.

Glad that we found this hidden gem. We passed by this place and decided to eat due to how homey the entire place feels. Everything was amazing! The caprese is out of the world and I order caprese at every single restaurant. Normally I’m not a fan of gnocchi but the gnocchi is so soft and the pomodoro sauce is incredible. After we done eating, we saw the chef and it felt indeed like a nonna cooking for us

What an absolutely phenomenal restaurant in Sorrento. We literally felt like we were in Nonna‘s kitchen. My husband said he had the best Bolognese sauce he ever had in his life, and I loved my homemade cannelloni. The owners are delightful people who bend over backwards to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The place is tiny so reservations are definitely necessary to get in, but it is totally worth it. Some of the best meals we had during our Italian vacation!
