This place feels much more suited for tourists and a one-time visit. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, which is the highlight of the experience. However, for a restaurant that specialises in meat, we expected far more in terms of flavour and execution.
The wine list is acceptable, but nothing particularly memorable.
What truly ruined the evening were the tables — they are placed incredibly close to one another, making it impossible to sit comfortably or have a proper conversation.
It’s disappointing that we couldn’t enjoy the evening the way we had hoped.
A wonderful dinner at Clover Grill, deservedly part of the World’s 101 Best Steakhouses.
I started with the Terrine de foie gras de canard des Landes grillé, which was rich, smooth, and beautifully prepared. For the main course, the Filet de bœuf with sauce Béarnaise was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, accompanied by crispy pommes allumettes and épinards au beurre noisette… classic sides done just right.
To finish, the Ananas à la broche Vanille Piment with citronnelle ice cream was both refreshing and surprising, a perfect ending to the meal.
Lovely dinner, friendly service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return. A great Paris address for steak lovers.

The restaurant is very nice and the service is good. However it is very expensive compared to what you would expect in other restaurants. I know that the chef is renowned but it was still very expensive for relatively small portions.
What was the most astonishing for me was the price of the deserts. Not a single one of them was below the 20$ mark and the clients seating next to our table ordered churros for 20 euros and received only TWO small size churros with some chocolate sauce. Considering that the price to make those must me in the range of 20-50 cents in raw material I thought it showed pretty well the philosophy of this restaurant.

Very solid dining experience. Having said that, the steak was good but not superb. For the price, I have had better steak. But..the food was good. The appetizer, sides and dessert were all top notch. The service was great. And it's a comfortable place to have dinner. The price it just a little much for what you get.

Clover Grill is a restaurant in Paris that specializes in grilled meat. The place has a colorful wall with paintings and an open kitchen at the back. There is also a large aging cabinet with different cuts of meat, which are aging. The wine list is extensive and offers a variety of choices. I ordered the bavette as the main course, which came with a small portion of bearnaise sauce that I had to share. The meat was tender and juicy. The price was quite high for what I got, and I did not feel very impressed by the experience. The service was friendly and welcoming, though.
