The Friendly Spot is an incredible Ice House with a huge wraparound yard in the front and back. Essentially a full on park for kids to play and adults to eat, drink, and be merry. Perfect spot to watch a Spurs game or end a bike ride. It’s my dream place to grab a SUNBOY spiked coconut water, or four, as the sun is setting before I walk across the street to Bruno’s Dive. The Friendly Spot is a 10/10 must visit in Southtown San Antonio. Warm and welcoming for locals and visitors alike.

Stumbled upon this spot on a Wednesday night and it was showing the spurs game on a large screen, which made it the busiest spot in the neighborhood. Good bar food and it was great to see kids around with families later in the evening playing on a giant slide!
We were out on our morning walk exploring San Antonio and found this amazing establishment. Being 9 am it was not open yet however based on the view looks like a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy the company of others.
A nice place to visit on a cool day. We were in town visiting and stopped here to watch a football game. They have good appetizers and the service was good. It's kid friendly. Don't bring your princess here if she likes beautiful bathrooms. 😁
