Having been to Gaggan from the first outlet at the beginning of his career a decade ago that we enjoyed. Then it evolved to the rock and roll-ish stage like venue on Sukhumvit soi 31, which draws on his uninhibited side…but wasn’t my style of dining.
We waited until the hype slowed to try the Gaggan’s collaborated LV venue for the Spring dinner menu.
The dinner at LV was elegant and perfectly executed. Many dishes were drawn from his famous inventions- the licking plate, the colorful map and the Indian flavored creative morsels.
It was very enjoyable and the service impeccable.
f you want the ultimate "only in Bangkok" luxury experience, Gaggan at LV Place is the absolute pinnacle. This wasn't just a dinner; it was the undisputed highlight of our entire trip. The ambiance perfectly captures the essence of Louis Vuitton, from the monogrammed plates and LV glasses to the napkin rings. Even the servers and chefs are dressed head-to-toe in Louis Vuitton!
The level of access we had was mind-blowing. We were invited into the private room, which is designed to resemble the inside of an iconic LV trunk, complete with a window into the kitchen so you can watch the staff and chefs at work. We were warmly welcomed by the Restaurant Manager, Jake Leard, and soon joined by Head Chef Vix Rathour, both of whom made the night feel like a truly personal invitation into their world.
To top it all off, we were incredibly lucky to be the very first guests to sample their brand-new seasonal Spring menu: "Greetings from Spring Peaks." The flavours were nothing short of amazing. And yes—the rumors are true—the "Lick It Up" plate is an absolute must! There is nothing quite like the "yogurt explosion" while actually licking the plate in such a sophisticated setting to break the ice. It’s a boundary-pushing, fascinating culinary journey that blends haute couture with avant-garde soul. An absolute must-visit!
Free LV yes please!
About 5 rooms you can walk through in 30 minutes but if you love fashion it's a must visit.
We went on a Monday around 12pm only a few people not overly crowded.
Entrance is free and there is a LV cafe next door.
Both the museum and cafe you must book online before going.
I believe you can only buy so many tickets online at once with one email so we needed 2 emails because there was a group of us going.
At the end you get a surprise free gift. I won a poster and everyone else won the postcards.
I have admired Gaggan’s cuisine for a long time, so this visit to Bangkok was something I truly looked forward to. The experience lived up to my expectations in many ways, with professional service and beautifully presented dishes. However, the main course was not quite to my personal taste
Just dined at one of the most luxurious spot in town – Louis Vuitton The Place restaurant! The food was simply *L*ovely and *V*ibrant, a feast that’s truly an *L*uxurious *V*enture for the taste buds! Who knew haute cuisine could be served with such style? Thanks to the amazing Chefs creating such a feast and happy to call out the dessert that simply stunned !
