We first visited Magnolia three years ago when we came to Kutaisi, and this time, returning to the city, we knew we wanted to come back here again.
The food is truly wonderful — this is the kind of place where you can really feel and experience authentic Georgian cuisine. Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and made with care.
This visit became even more special thanks to Nana, who helped us choose the dishes and introduced us to many new and amazing flavors. Her kindness, warmth, and attention made us feel incredibly welcome. Through her hospitality, we experienced the true spirit of Georgian culture and generosity.
Thank you for such a lovely atmosphere, excellent food, and unforgettable memories. We will definitely come back again.
Prleefect service and very delicious food! The pumpkin salad was amazing! The interior inside are not very authentic and remind a bit of a set for a Flintstone film, but the outside appearance and the river are a plus.

Super tasty Georgian food! We went there twice. I would recommend booking a table in advance. Ask them to sit next to the river in the back if you like it more quiet. The music is very loud so after a long day of traveling it might be a bit too much for some people including me. Garlic chicken is a huge dish and I assume so are many others. If you are used to Tbilisi portions you will be surprised when you get to this place. Food came quickly.

Some people chase fancy, multi-starred restaurants thinking that’s where the best food must be. But sometimes the most beautiful, deep and authentic flavors come from places where people simply cook with heart, passion, and honesty.
This Georgian restaurant is exactly that kind of place. The food is absolutely delicious, freshly made, and full of real Georgian flavors. Everything tastes authentic and prepared with care.
I’ve eaten here several times already and every visit has been wonderful. The atmosphere is warm, family-like and full of life — you truly feel like you’re sitting in a Georgian home rather than a restaurant.
The place was full of both locals and tourists, and honestly it’s easy to understand why. When food, hospitality and passion come together like this, people naturally keep coming back.
A truly special place.

From the moment I arrived, I had a very good impression.
Exterior: The restaurant is in the basement of the hotel with an amazing garden, on the left side of the river bridge. WOW, amazing to have dinner in that environment.
Interior: WOW, again. The main restaurant dining area was a simulation of pro historical fiction, giving you the impression that you are dining in a rock Cave!! Really impressive ambience.
Experience: I was lucky because I found a table parallel to the river, so I opened the old wooden window and let the charming sounds of the water and natural fascinate me.
Food and drinks: Congrats to the Chef and team for the very nice food, it was simple - traditional - clearly straight to the point of what they promised. I ordered cheesy croquets made from Imeruli and Sulguni Georgian cheese, one very nice salad with toasted pumpkin and berries, as main I choose grilled pork. Overall everything was very tasty and I understand that the kitchen team works with love. I chose a bottle of khvanchkara wine from their personal production. Finished my dinner with a coffee and apple tartlet.
Service: The young guy was my server, I'm sorry friend but I forget your name, the wine influences me for that. Attentive, fast and polite he added the cherry on the top of my "evening cake". Thank you, because you take care of me!
Overall: In my opinion, the Best restaurant in Kutaisi, considering all what is offering (ambience, food and service). I know that fines can hinder progress, and this place has all the potential to be the best in the whole region not only in the city!
I didn't comment on the prices because I never considered having this experience, but overall, I found it super friendly.
If you'd like me to share the points for improvement, feel free to reach out. My background would likely be helpful.
