Last night we sat at the chef’s counter at Golden HOF and every single thing we ordered was amazing.
The Gochujang Chicken Wings were so crispy with the perfect sweet and spicy glaze. Definitely some of the best wings I’ve had in a long time.
The Buldak Fire Chicken Dumplings completely stole the show - a nice touch of spicy, and cheesy, and so so so frickin good.
We also had the Japchae, which was packed with flavor and the perfect thing to balance out the richer dishes.
The Bibimbap was excellent too… fresh, flavorful, and mixed together perfectly. It was one of those dishes that was simple but really stood out.
And the Chicken Sando was incredible!! So crispy, juicy, and honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while. (Adding a little gochujang brought it next level)
Sitting at the chef’s counter made the whole experience even better. Listening to them call out the orders, requesting “hands”, and watching them all work was so fascinating.
Major kudos to our chefs!!!. Such a great spot and we’ll definitely be back.
We came here on a NYC trip after our broadway show! This was a sort of random pick as there is so many restaurants to choose from in NYC but we were very pleased with this selection! The menu was so fun Korean food with a twist as there was a lot of delicious and interesting plates to choose from! It was hard to narrow it down! We ended up settling on a few items from the happy hour menu as well as a couple entrees and apps. My favorite dishes were definitely the cheesy corn and the rose pasta dish we got? It was soooo good! The service here was attentive and quick! The food came out hot and delicious! I wish the drinks were larger than just little glass coke bottles but that normal in NYC! I would highly recommend dining here! I would come back and I wish I had tried the pancake dessert!!
My wife and I had a great time. Sam B our waiter was amazing. To the owners, PLEASE recognize him. He was terrific. The chicken was delicious, the entrees were great. I have nothing but positive things to say. Great job. I meant to take the pictures prior to eating, lol.
This place was fantastic - my girlfriend and I loved it! We went on a Wednesday night, we highly recommend making a reservation. We were lucky and were able to make one the same day. The food was so delicious, I got the cheeseburger and she the salmon. What we really went for were the famous pancakes, and they did not disappoint! They taste better than they look. The only thing we didn’t like was that the tables were placed so closely together, making the aisle walking path narrow and constantly hitting people and servers walking by. Other than that fun atmosphere. Highly recommend, we will be back.
If you want to try golden dinner pancakes but don’t want to make the line, this is it. All the food was amazing but let me tell you that portions are BIG. We ordered two appetizers and had to take our main to go because it was too much food. We still made room for the pancakes. They are really good and fluffy, they are really rich and sweet so for me are perfect to share. This portion is smaller than the one on golden dinner but the same taste. Service was very friendly and we had a really good time. Thank you
