Golden Hong Kong Palace

Used to go quite often but since they reopened a couple of weeks ago, quality, quantity and variery have severely dropped for the dim sum. They have removed a few options and for the rest, the quality was not the same and have shrieked the portion size. Went on a Sunday so it was packed but it was quite disorganized. There were people waiting for a table, waiting to pay, and waiting for the dim sum all in the same place.

Hands down the best boulette Chou Chou I’ve tried! Authentic dim sum with amazing flavors. The steamed pork ribs are a must, and the duck with soya sauce, crispy calamari, and mine bouilli were all excellent. Absolutely worth the wait!

Awesome dimsum and a great place with many tables, be sure to arrive early to avoid the crowd

Well, air conditioned restaurant with beautiful decoration and good service with good background music. I ordered the sweet and sour pork that is absolutely delicious.

My relatives and I recently dined there, and we tried a variety of dishes including fried noodles, fried meefoon, siou kiaow, bol renverser, crispy calamari, and maize soup. Fried Noodles and Fried Meefoon: Both dishes were good. The portions were generous, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. These two dishes are I recommend if you're visiting. Crispy Calamari: The crispy calamari was delicious with a satisfying crunch. However, the portion size was a bit disappointing. We had to order two servings for our group of four. Siou Kiaow: The siou kiaow was flavorful, though a bit pricey at Rs400 for 10 pieces. Despite the cost, the taste made up for it. Bol Renverser: This dish was underwhelming. It lacked the flavor and excitement we were expecting. Maize Soup: The maize soup was a highlight. It was very tasty, and the portion size was impressive. Recommended. Additionally, the waitress who served us was very friendly, which made our dining experience pleasant. I might return to try their dim sums next time. Overall, the restaurant offers a mixed experience, with some standout dishes and a few that could use improvement. It's worth a visit for the fried noodles, fried meefoon, and maize soup.
