We celebrated my birthday dinner at Havana Beach Bar & Grill at The Pearl Hotel, and it was such a great choice! The restaurant is beautiful, and we happened to go during the World Cup, so it was a nice touch that they had the games playing.
Our waiter was super attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes and recommendations, very friendly throughout the meal.
They started us off with a bread basket with a few different types of bread, all delicious. We ordered the mojo pork empanadas (comes with two, good size) and they were delish. For our main course, we got the Santiago grouper, it was tasty, but a little under-seasoned for our taste, both the rice and the fish, as well as the black beans. That said, this really comes down to personal preference since we like our food on the saltier side, and it was still good overall.
My husband ordered the Perla del Sur ribs and those were amazing, the seasoning and sauce were so flavorful. Our waiter also recommended a cocktail called the Rose Berry, which was a great suggestion. By dessert we were already pretty full, but they brought us out a panna cotta for my birthday that was excellent.
Overall, everything was delicious and the place is definitely recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed dining here for dinner last night with our family of four. We were seated by the window, which offered beautiful views of Rosemary. The atmosphere felt upscale and elegant while still being welcoming for our two school aged children.
Our server, Joel, was attentive, personable, and made our dining experience very enjoyable. His recommendations were spot on as well. We especially loved the Grouper Bites, the ceviche, the catch of the day (Redfish), Lemon Lime pie and the Blushing Bramble cocktail.
We had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish and would highly recommend a visit!
This place was a little too fancy for me even though it was reasonably priced. Most of the drinks are alcoholic so not good for kids or for people who can’t have alcohol. The salad was good but a little small. The service was good, though. Our waitress, Aria was really nice.
WOW! Ive been following Chef Jordan for a while and FINALLY got the opportunity to go eat here while in town. Chef Jordan and the FOH staff went above and beyond in helping my team and I get a table during a busy week. We are so grateful to them for this! Our server Price knew the menu extremely well and was on top of his service. Now the food..... EVERYTHING we had was amazing! My steak was seared with an amazing crust and cooked to perfection. The ribs were to die for! We had the oyster snd shrimp pasta as well. Im so sad I cant visit more, but Texas misses you Chef Jordan. This place is an absolute MUST try and I cant wait to visit again! Keep crushing it Havana team!
Wonderful place to get upscale creative Cuban food. Everything was delicious. The pork empanadas were wonderful with a crispy crust. The fried grouper bites were so good with the pickles! Drinks were outstanding and made fresh. Definitely recommended stopping at Havana for dinner. Would love to return to try dining outside or for lounging on the rooftop.
