Exceptional brewery that is a real beer lovers delight. They know their stuff and you can tell that their brewers take pride in the stuff they're serving. If you only have time for one or two, you gotta get one of the lagers off the tank.. they're phenomenal. And make sure to grab yourself a milktube (and maybe one for the bartender?) before you go. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and will happily walk you through the options and let you try anything you're interested in. If I was local I'd be here all the time!
Looking for a brewery within walking distance to a late dinner reservation with a sour ale on the menu, Yelp led me to Human Robot. It’s a fun brewery with indoor and outdoor seating in a more industrial part of town. They always have at least one rotating sour on the menu called The Splash. It was mango and pineapple when I went in June 2026. My pint cost $8. Service was excellent and the space is inviting.
What an amazing brewery! Philly is bursting with them, but this is such a special and fun lager-drinking experience. Not only are the beers exceptional, the atmosphere is excellent. I really love the outdoor window you can order from when it’s comfortable to sit outside. The staff are so nice and the food looks great. I’m so happy we stopped by and we were very happy to spend a couple of hours here. Next time, we’ll definitely get the food!
Smiley was super friendly and ensured me that I would have the greatest Human Robot experience possible. I got to taste all the things and he invited me to do a Milk Tube and gave me a sticker to prove it. Made me feel like a local. Everyone should do it. The sandwich place attached to here, Poe’s, was phenomenal as well. If I lived near here I’m sure I would be here daily! Thanks Smiley for making it a great visit!
Really cool spot up in Fishtown. Excellently crafted lagers and other styles. Very busy, hip crowd. Hot sandwiches highly recommended by my friends. Recommended and will definitely return
