While it’s definitely on the higher end, the restaurant does provide a more upscale dining environment, with stylish décor and even a fancy bar area stocked with wine options.
One thing to note: AYCE requires at least two diners, so as a solo guest, I had to sit at the bar and order from the à la carte menu. I went with the Stone Pot Bibimbap, a mix of vegetables, beef bulgogi, and an over-easy egg served over rice in a sizzling hot stone bowl. While the crispy scorched rice from the pot was a nice touch, I found that even after mixing everything together, the flavors of the veggies, beef, and rice still felt somewhat separate. The sauce provided was on the salty side, leaving me reaching for water throughout the meal.
The complimentary appetizers were a highlight, and to finish, they serve a free ice cream dessert. I tried the green tea flavor—delicious, but the scoop was small and left me wanting more.

After a trip to Lake Tahoe I was in need of some food where I was craving for some Korean barbecue. I did my research and this place came up where it was nearby and looks good. I instantly knew I had to give it a try. Upon arrival, I came by a little before dinner and was seated immediately. I was greeted by their friendly staffs and asked what I would like to drink. They offer a la carte or all you can eat where you can choose up to four meats per a time. Also appetizers , small side dishes, soups and drinks are also included for the all you can order. And they have a few dishes that are only available during dinner time and of course I had to get them. My orders arrived to my table very quickly each time which was extra points. The grill they use is the metal circular pan style for easy change out. The food and service was great thank to their very welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs where I did not encounter an issue during my visit. As time went by, the place filled up and lines began to form. I am happy I arrived early and got to eat right away. I highly recommend this place to all Korean barbecue enthusiasts, if you need a quick bit me just like me or to anyone willing to try something new. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
I had a very disappointing experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant tonight.
My friend and I came in for dinner, and after being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. At first, I tried to be understanding and assumed they were just busy—until we noticed two staff members standing at the entrance chatting instead of helping customers.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t even the worst part.
We were seated at a table with a broken grill. From the beginning, we noticed the heat was extremely low and asked the server if they could turn it up. We were told that it was already at the highest setting. After 30 minutes, we had only managed to cook one plate of meat, which was incredibly frustrating.
When I asked again about the grill, the server simply said, “There’s nothing I can do,” and walked away without making any effort to fix the issue. That’s when I started to get upset.
They eventually sent another server who had a better attitude, but still didn’t resolve the problem. He told us that the grill at our table had actually been broken for a week—which made it even worse that they knowingly seated customers there.
In the end, I had to insist on switching tables myself before we could finally eat properly.
On top of that, the kitchen food was also disappointing. The tteokbokki I ordered wasn’t even properly cooked—the rice cakes were still hard and cold inside.
Overall, the service was careless and unprofessional, and the food quality did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this place.
Definitely not the Korean BBQ we were used to. Quality of meat was not great. It was freezing inside (understanding we were next to a flame pit to cook our food so they had to have fans on) Bring a sweater or jacket. Food was just meh! We love Ijji 2 though.
I haven't had dinner here, but the cocktails are delicious and the bartender is very friendly. Plus, the place is perfect for a date night, and they also have good prices
