Jordnær
A quiet, confident, and extremely consistent experience. Throughout the menu there wasn’t a single “ehh” dish — everything was clean, well-balanced, and genuinely delicious. The kitchen plays it safe in the best possible way, never letting the level drop.
Seafood is treated with great respect and precision; turbot and langoustine form the backbone of the meal. Desserts, however, are the true highlight of the evening — among all the 2- and 3-Michelin-starred restaurants I have experienced, this is the best dessert performance I’ve had.
Hospitality is exceptional. The service team reads the table perfectly, timing is flawless, and the approach is warm yet refined. It turns dinner into a memorable experience rather than just a good meal.
A kitchen that doesn’t shout, doesn’t force, but clearly knows exactly what it’s doing.
A place that genuinely makes you want to return.
Me and my chef friend had the pleasure of dining at Jordnær during our trip to Copenhagen, and out of the 8 Michelin restaurants we experienced, this was hands down the best. (we ate at Geranium, Kadeau, Jatak, Koan, Aure, AOC, king hans cellar).
Chef Eric and Tina have created a true masterclass in what hospitality should look and feel like from both a culinary and service standpoint. Beyond the obvious fact that there were zero misses in either the food or the steps of service, what stood out most was something many restaurants at this level seem to forget: authenticity, intention, passion, and soul.
Every detail felt human and deeply personal. The warmth of the dining room, the personality of the staff, the interaction from the chefs, the music, the pacing, the execution; everything worked together to create an experience that felt alive rather than scripted.
As chefs ourselves, it genuinely inspired us.
Thank you Chef Eric and thank you Tina for reminding us what this industry can and should be.
I had the pleasure of dining at that exceptional three-Michelin-star restaurant—a true ode to culinary excellence. From the moment I arrived, the refined and warm atmosphere captivated me. The chic and elegant décor subtly blends modernity with tradition, while the original and sophisticated tableware transforms every dish into a work of art.
The service was remarkably smooth, combining professionalism with a relaxed demeanor: the staff was attentive and considerate without ever seeming formal, creating the perfect balance between precision and friendliness.
The wine list, for its part, was simply dazzling. It featured a selection of rare vintages and prestigious champagnes that elevated every dish and delighted connoisseurs of fine bottles.
The highlight of the evening was the unique 17-course menu, each dish a true symphony of flavors. Every bite was a sensory journey. I particularly loved the scallops, elevated by impeccable cooking, the langoustine with its exquisite tenderness, and the bluefin otoro, whose finesse and depth of flavor were remarkable. Among the desserts, the lychee and rhubarb enchanted me with its perfect balance of fruity sweetness and delicate acidity.
In short, this gastronomic experience was extraordinary on every level: from the welcome to the presentation and, of course, the food itself, every detail was crafted to offer an exceptional moment. A dinner that will remain etched in my memory, as it so beautifully married art, flavors, and elegance.
The best Michelin-star experience in my life 🌟 🌟🌟 🇩🇰
Incredible food and amazing service.
Passionate and talented team behind the scene.
Grateful for the experience, and for the reminder that food can be art, memory, and connection all at once. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant if you are able to book a table.
A beautiful and extremely enjoyable evening. From entering to leaving service was faultless and non-intrusive. The food was exceptional and the wine pairing was perfect with each dish.
A very wonderful experience.
