Amazing kimbab made fresh out of the kitchen.
Probably the only town on the East Coast where you can get proper kimbab. The kimbab rivalry in this neighborhood runs really deep, and this place is more trendy and refined than the rugged versions I've had before.
Small counter-serve space with pre-made rolls on display, though they'll make them fresh if you want. I grabbed the ones on display out of convenience, and they were just as warm as a roll pulled straight from the kitchen. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe their rotation just moves fast in the morning, but this was the best kimbab I've had in a while (including the ones I had in Korea).
The rolls here come packed with toppings and minimal rice, which is exactly how I like it. Super flavorful. My favorite was the spicy pork (제육볶음), and I loved how fresh the veggie fillings were, especially the scallions and carrots. A tad pricey overall, but very much worth it.
Love, love this new Kimbab joint! So glad it’s 3 minutes from the house. Fresh, traditional Kimbab the way grandma used to make it but even tastier. Rose rice cake- who would’ve thought to put rice cakes with fish cake and throw it into a Vodka sauce?! MIND BLOWN. Go get this place, ASAP! Spicy tuna, spicy pork, spicy chicken, spicy squid, spam musubi, etc. Lattes are delicious. Owner and daughter combo that are sweetest people who gives yummy gifts to sample.
Best Kimbap and Tteok-bokki ever! The service was great, food was fresh and delicious, and selection was amazing. The rice cake soup was phenomenal for a cold day. We got the spicy squid, bulgogi, and traditional kimbap! Dip the kimbap into the Tteok-bokki sauce for an optimal experience! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Can't wait to come back!
This cozy takeout spot is so perfect for a quick bite or drink. The space is so welcoming and the vibes are very cozy, clean and warm. There are also a lot of plants that bring life to the space.
You can feel the care and energy put into this cafe from the delicious kimbab rolls, high quality drinks, and excellent service.
They also sell other items like soft baked cookies, corn bread, fresh carrot juice, not to mention the drink menu has many options from espresso drinks, flavored lattes, matcha lattes, and more.
I tried an iced americano with honey and a caramel cream top, the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk, and the toasted marshmallow latte. The matcha latte is so delicious (they use real matcha!!) with a nice strawberry flavor that doesn’t overpower the matcha.
The kimbab is so fresh and they use high quality ingredients!! It taste like it was made with true Korean motherly love🙂↕️🙂↕️ I thoroughly enjoyed the bulgogi one and spicy squid.
yall better come up here n get one of these!!
I recently stopped by and was genuinely impressed with the quality and presentation. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and had a balanced, enjoyable flavor that made the meal feel very satisfying. The kimbap and tteokbokki were both thoughtfully made, and you can tell the owners take pride in their craft.
The atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the staff provides warm and attentive service, which really elevates the overall experience. It’s wonderful to see a local business operated with such care and professionalism.
The fresh carrot juice was also incredibly refreshing and delicious — and the price was surprisingly good as well.
On colder days, I especially recommend the warm fishcake soup and the matcha green latte — it’s not overly sweet, but incredibly delicious.
This place is a great addition to the neighborhood, and I’m happy to recommend it to others. Wishing them continued success — I’ll certainly be back again.
