We celebrated Father’s Day at La Tête d’Or and it was an absolutely outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Let’s say, I live in Miami Florida , Thailand & Japan & dine at a lot of Michelin Bib Gourmand Spots. This place is Mind blowing.
The service was exceptional, and a special thank you to Anthony, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. His hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests truly elevated the experience.
The food was phenomenal. The steaks were cooked to perfection and among the best we’ve had anywhere. The tableside Caesar salad (The Best We Ever Had In LIFE) was so incredible that we ordered a second one. The Hamachi Crudo was fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor.
To finish, we shared the ice cream sundae dessert, which was absolutely outstanding and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

Great dining experience. The place is stunning and the staff is very nice. The food was incredible. I think it’s safe to say this was the best Cesar salad I’ve ever had. The steak was great. We also tried their famous prime rib and a few appetizers. The sundae was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
I had the most amazing experience at La Tête d’Or, from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The food was outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. The filet mignon was hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and full of flavor. Truly unforgettable. The crab cake was delicious, the popovers were incredible, and the Brussel sprouts were amazing (I’m already thinking about when I can have them again!). My husband had the 28 day ribeye and it was EXCELLENT. The vanilla berry soft serve was like nothing I’ve ever experienced.. literally the perfect ending to our night. Can’t wait to try the other flavor. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was fantastic — from the servers, to the hosts and hostesses, and even the QUEEN running the coat check. You can tell they take pride in creating a top-tier experience. This was an amazing night all around. La Tête d’Or has officially made its way to the top of my steakhouse list in NYC. I can’t wait to come back!!
Mother’s Day at La Tête d'Or was such a great experience. The atmosphere felt elevated without being overly formal or intimidating — fancy enough for good photos, but still relaxed and comfortable.
We started with the tuna tartare and shared the Kaluga caviar for appetizers, which made the evening feel a little extra special without feeling pretentious. For mains, my husband ordered the NY strip, our daughter had the steak frites, and I ordered the lobster. We also shared extra fries and the spicy broccolini on the side — because sometimes balance means caviar and fries at the same table.
Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and enjoyable, but what really stood out was how relaxed the entire experience felt. It had the feel of a nice celebration dinner without the pressure of “serious” fine dining, which honestly made Mother’s Day even more enjoyable for our family.
One of the best steakhouse and fine dining restaurants around definitely! We love chef Daniel Boulud’s all other restaurants and this latest one did not disappoint!
Gorgeous interior, ambiance and service, not to mention the top notch execution in each plate we had. Bread and sides were all great compliments to the main plates. We enjoyed the twisted lyonnaise salad and prime rib. Horseradish crème sauce was excellent! Food here is top tier solid and service was seamless. We will try to come back more often to try out the other menu choices!
