Bangkok Laab Ubon Kontrakran is a fantastic local spot with a very neat, authentic vibe. The food is classic Thai casual cuisine done right—bold flavors, fun menu choices, and plenty of dishes that feel truly local. The space is lively and dynamic, adding to the overall experience and energy of the place. Everything feels relaxed and genuine. I’d easily recommend it 10/10. Just a heads-up: you might leave with your clothes carrying a bit of that delicious BBQ aroma afterward.

Good Isaan food with bold, authentic flavors. Excellent, perfectly spiced som tam, seafood soup and well-grilled meats. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and fast service. A must-visit for real northeastern Thai cuisine

Salt roasted tilapia 👍 Papaya salad 👍 Just the right balance of sweet, sour and salty. Grilled pork neck 👍 Good mix of fat with lean meat. Pork sour soup 👍 Basil pork rice 👍 Pad Thai 🫲 Very fresh prawns. Fried morning glory 🫲 Tanghoon salad 👎 Too salty. No sweet balance.

They used to served a savory and spicy dishes Thai Northeastern dishes, and we had visited from time to time, All papaya salad was great / fried chicken wings are juicy. Not sure why the latest visit all the menu was menacingly salty. Hope to visit again after a distant break.

Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and packed with authentic Thai flavour. You can tell it’s the real deal when you see locals dining in too. The menu has plenty of options to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The restaurant has a great atmosphere inside. Warm and inviting, It’s on a corner, so parking can be a bit limited, but takeaway is also available if you're in a rush. Loved the busy street vibes outside! it adds to the whole Bangkok style experience.
