Ideal for lunch or dinner, especially if you want to enjoy the outdoor seating and waterfront views. Given some reports of the restaurant being empty during certain times, visiting during off-peak hours might offer a more relaxed experience, though service consistency appears to vary.
First of all, if “our feedbacks are important to you and you want to make it right” MAKE IT RIGHT! My family and I came here yesterday around 6:30 PM while celebrating my mom's birthday on vacation, and unfortunately it was the worst customer service we've experienced in Miami.
The employee who identified himself as the manager told us he would be right back to seat us, so we stood at the entrance waiting for about five minutes. While we were still waiting to be seated, I asked if I could use the restroom. Instead of simply helping us get seated or politely explaining the policy, he repeatedly told me to walk to the public restroom and kept focusing on that instead. He also said we could use the restaurant's restroom once we were eating. That made no sense because we were still waiting for him to seat us.
The entire interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily argumentative. When we asked who the manager was because of how we were being treated, he told us he was the manager.
The restaurant was completely empty while the surrounding restaurants were busy, and after this experience, I can understand why. We left without eating and spent our money elsewhere. First impressions matter, and this experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my mom.
I hope ownership looks into how guests are treated because no customer should be welcomed this way.
EDIT: I just looked at the previous reviews and noticed one from only 16 hours before mine describing the same issue with the manager, Raul. It was another family who was also trying to celebrate a birthday. I really hope the owner addresses this situation because Raul is hurting the customer experience and giving the restaurant a bad reputation.
Plenty of bad reviews about him, not sure why he’s still employed there, but his bathroom obsession is not really cute!
We tried the Huli Huli Chicken and the Asian Chicken Bowl, and both were very, very good. The Huli Huli chicken was juicy and flavorful with the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the grilled pineapple really elevated the dish. The Asian Chicken Bowl was equally impressive—crispy chicken with a rich, delicious sauce and great overall flavor. Everything was fresh and satisfying. Definitely a place we’d come back to again!
We had a wonderful time here! Ann was so quick and friendly and made the first night of our vacation exceptional. The manager, Raul, was so funny and charming. They made the start of our vacation even better. We will definitely be back next time we are here!
Great food! Great service! We tried the seafood steam pot, the ribs, the kids mac, the Huli Huli chicken, and the pasta, and 3 pieces of key lime pie, and it was all really good. No issues getting in right away, and our server was very attentive. It was a bit more expensive than we'd expected, but we got 3 specialty drink, and 3 key lime pies, and the lettuce wraps, so it just added up. Oh, watch out for the tip being automatically added, even for small groups. It was lower than I'd normally tip, so I just added to it, but was a surprise.
Food was really good. Taco Nachos were amazing. Fish and chips were a win for me and im not a seafood person. The chicken sandwich with Chipotle pineapple aioli was also amazing. The dragonfruit spritzer was great, the strawberry one not as good. Our waitress Shanda did an amazing job taking care of us. Never once felt rushed and over burdened.
