Madras Spices provided meals for our recent family get together, with 3 excellent dishes, including chicken curry, paneer curry and vegetable sambar, to suit vegans & vegetarians, as well as meat eaters. Arun guided me through the process from start to finish, ensuring the food was cooked to our taste and ‘spice’ preferences, and we also had Ponni Rice and Chapati, which complemented the main dishes very well.
The main curry dishes were supplied in reusable metal containers, which contained the food really well, and the rice & chapatis were in disposable foil trays, all of which helped us to transport the food easily.
The quality of the food was excellent, along with the ‘start to finish’ service, and it was great value too.

I’ve been searching for Seeraga Samba biryani in Bournemouth for quite some time. As someone who loves authentic South Indian food, especially Tamil Nadu–style biryani, I found that most places serve basmati or other regional styles, which didn’t match what I was looking for.
Finally, I discovered a close match at Madras Spices. The biryani here feels much closer to the Tamil Nadu style I was craving. The quality and taste are really good, and what impressed me most is the consistency — I’ve eaten there 4–5 times, and the flavour has remained the same every single time.
If you’re looking for a biryani that reminds you of home, especially Seeraga Samba style, this place is definitely worth trying.
Absolutely loved the Briyani. Not the first time I ordered from them, but felt I should be leaving a review. Masala was full of taste and loved the flavour. It honestly made our Friday night so much better. Highly recommend for people in and around Bournemouth.

The entire menu was absolutely delicious and very well balanced. From the crispy and flavourful Gobi 65 starters to the perfectly cooked Veg Biryani served with raita, every dish was a hit with our guests. The Paneer Curry paired beautifully with soft chapathis, and the Curd Rice was refreshing and comforting.
The sides like appalam and pickle added that authentic touch, and the Badam Kheer dessert was the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
What truly stood out was not just the taste but also the generous quantity — more than enough for all 25 guests, with everyone appreciating the quality and flavour of the food.

The Vegetable cutlet, Vegetable Biryani, Chapati, Paneer Palak, and Badam Kheer were all delicious, authentic, and prepared with great care. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced, and all our guests enjoyed the food.
