Great place, excellent food. Met an old friend here for appetizers and liked it so much we came back for dinner two nights later. The chipotle meatballs were a perfect appetizer - very tasty, well spiced but not at all fiery and enough to convince us that dinner would be lovely. While enjoying our meatballs at the bar, we were charmed to watch Michael greet everyone that came in - the majority of whom he knew by their first name - the friendliness carried over to the bar tender, waitstaff and to the patrons; we ended up shaking hands and trading stories with many new friends. We had such fun and good tastes that we returned for dinner two nights later. My buddy had the beef tenderloin rare - I was envious until I tasted my crab cakes. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The crab cakes were baked and not fried - allowing for minimal binding material and lots of crab and no grease - topping them off was a lovely ancho chile cream sauce. My mouth is watering as I write this. We also got an additional side of the Thai green beans - a must have. Again, spicy but not fiery and not overcooked. Both meals were excellent and difficult to select from the varied menu of choices; I want to keep coming back to taste them all and continue to make new friends.
