I was really disappointed with this visit. The staff were friendly, but the service was very slow and unorganized. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it — everything tasted bland and far from authentic. The takoyaki and gyoza seemed like they had been microwaved and lacked any real flavor.
We also ordered the sushi boat, and the fish was clearly farm-raised and not fresh. Considering the prices, I expected much better quality. I’d recommend skipping this spot and trying other places in Santiago — you’ll likely find similar quality fish at a far more reasonable cost.
The food here was amazing, so tasty and fresh and they make the food right in front of you. Great service too

Restaurant Japón is a decent place to visit if you’re in the area, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price. The staff were friendly, but the service was fairly slow. I also would have preferred printed menus, though everything was available online. It wasn’t very clear whether I was supposed to order online, at the counter, or wait for table service. In the end, the staff took my order when I asked, which was appreciated. The online menu also suggested that payment was done through the website, but that didn’t end up being the case.
The food was okay, but it lacked cohesion. The individual ingredients were decent, but they didn’t quite come together or share a consistent flavour profile, which I’d expect from a good soup. I ordered the edamame and the udon with tempura vegetables, shrimp, and chicken. The dish was nicely presented, but overall it didn’t have much flavour. The edamame were fine, although they didn’t come as described on the menu (no sesame seeds), which I didn’t really mind, but it’s worth mentioning.
The atmosphere is decent, and the sushi bar looked exciting. However, the prices felt a little high for what you get.

Went here last night for dinner and sat at the sushi bar. The staff are very polite and friendly. I don't speak Spanish, so it was a little hard for them to understand what I wanted. A lot of the vegetarian items listed on the Google menu weren't available, so they just ended up making me an avocado roll, which was very delicious. :)

Amazing food, we shared the sashimi sushi platter for 2, delicious and fresh. The staff were mostly very nice. It was a bit hot inside in the bar so they kindly moved us to a table. The pisco sour was really good as well!
