Nía Bakery Coffee Shop & Cocktails is a lovely spot with a warm atmosphere and great attention to detail. The pastries were fresh and delicious, the coffee was excellent, and the service was friendly throughout my visit.
What I especially enjoyed was the combination of a cozy bakery vibe during the day and a relaxed cocktail setting later on. Everything felt thoughtfully curated, from the presentation of the food to the ambiance of the space.
A great place to enjoy breakfast, coffee with friends, or simply spend a relaxing afternoon. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena.
The hype is real. Went on a regular weekday afternoon and still had a long wait to get in — that alone tells you everything. Didn’t matter though, totally worth it.
The guava pastry is something else. One of those things you eat and immediately want another one. Coffee and drinks were great too, really well done across the board.
The place itself is beautiful — lovely ambiance, the kind of spot you want to just sit in and stay a while.
Loved it so much I went back on my last day in Cartagena to give it one more try — and the line was even longer so had to skip it that time. Gutted. If you’re visiting Cartagena go early, don’t do what I did and leave it to your last day. A must visit. 🥐

My mom and I had the most incredible lunch here! We each got smoothies and split one of the flatbreads and the fruit platter. Everything we ordered was super fresh and delicious, and my mom said it was the best flatbread she’s ever had. So many other things on the menu looked incredible too. The atmosphere of the cafe is beautiful as well and we appreciated having the option to dine indoors or outside in the courtyard.

Nia Bakery & Coffee Shop is such a beautiful spot in Cartagena — the atmosphere is easily the highlight here. The design is stunning with warm tones, arched doorways, and lots of greenery that give it a calm, tropical vibe. It’s the kind of place you want to sit and enjoy for a while.
We tried the cappuccino and matcha latte (both average), the fresh fruit bowl (amazing — super fresh and flavorful, especially the dragon fruit), the green smoothie (okay but mostly tasted like banana), the torta de coco (sweet and overall fine), and the rollo de chorizo (a bit too oily but flavorful).
Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes it worth visiting. Definitely a great place to relax, take photos, and enjoy Cartagena’s laid-back charm.

I expected a lot more given its high rating and prices.
The chocolate cake was below average, coffee was average, the juice tasted like store-bought juice, and the focaccia bread with pesto was delicious but very oily. We added shrimp to it.
