Lovely experience, with fantastic food and staff. The menu is interesting and diverse, with many great dishes, but also a few that did not match our taste. For a very special occasion, I think it may be well worth the expense. I think the title of “best in the world” can lead to over blown expectations; I would suggest coming with just expectations for unique and well thought out food, and enjoy the experience.

I came to Osteria Francescana with high expectations, having wanted to visit for many years. It did not disappoint. The menu “Ho Fame! Ho Fame!” offers a balance of delicate and more bold flavours, always rooted in prime Italian products and traditions, but with modern and unexpected twists. My personal highlights were the amuse bouche (“Artusi”), the artichoke (definitely the best piece of artichoke of my life) and the tagliatelle 3.0. A large space in the menu is dedicated to the dessert which I personally appreciate a lot. The wine pairing was a bit more disappointing in my opinion, given its quite steep price. The presence of Massimo Bottura who came and took the time to chat and connect on a personal level with every table was a highlight of the evening in itself!

Been wanting to visit Osteria Francescana for a long time and finally got the chance to visit.
The staff from the moment we walked in were friendly and accommodating. They were professional and friendly, what you’d expect at a three star Michelin restaurant. The food was incredible, every plate was beautiful, like art and tasted incredible. You have to savor every bite to fully experience the flavors chef Bottura wants to convey.
Chef Bottura came out and talked with every table. The conversation was very personal and very different from other three Michelin experiences we’ve had.
This is our second Best of the Best restaurant, the other being The French Laundry and this equals in experience.
We hope to try it again, it’ll definitely be a meal we will never forget.

Incredible dining experience. We had one vegetarian tasting and one normal tasting menu and both of us were blown away by the taste, the beauty, and the creativity of the dishes. The service was 100% (which goes without saying), and the atmosphere was incredible. My favorite part of dinner (outside of the food) was walking into the dining room through an intense red hallway being greeted so warmly by the staff. I feel so lucky my husband and I were able to come here and enjoy this once in a lifetime meal.

An elegant and amazing experience. The ambience was terrific. The staff were beyond prepared and extremely knowledgeable from wine and food combinations to the dishes themselves. Chef Massimo Bottura of Modena, Italy has created an incredible menu that is detailed and really encapsulates Italian cuisine. After the meal he introduced himself to our table and gave us insight on his dishes he has created. It was a wonderful experience getting to meet him. There is a reason this is a 3 star Michelin restaurant. I 100% recommend you reserve a table if you are in the area.
