Customers frequently praise the amazing service, fun decor, and outside patio, highlighting the superb and attentive staff who even offer throw blankets for comfort. The thin-crust Roman-style pizza, Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, and table-side Tiramisù receive high marks for flavor and authenticity, often reminding diners of Italy. I had heard good things about Petralunga, so my friend and I decided to give it a try during our vacation in Miami. I am glad we did.
Parking was easy to find, which is always a nice way to start a meal in Miami. Once inside, I immediately noticed how bright, clean, and spacious the restaurant was. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside, along with some cool artwork and décor throughout the space.
I had reserved a table outside. The weather was not exactly cooperating, but the marina view was too nice to pass up. One thing worth mentioning is their weekend lunch special. Every Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM they offer 50% off their entire à la carte food and beverage menu, which is a fantastic deal.
Our first server, Sofia, was excellent. She was sweet, friendly, knowledgeable, and even let us sample a few wines before deciding. Great service from the start.
We both ended up ordering glasses of the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, which was very enjoyable. We also ordered sparkling water, which was perfect on a hot and humid Miami afternoon.
My friend ordered the lobster ravioli and really enjoyed it. I went with the New York Strip cooked medium and a side of steamed broccoli. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a nice texture. My only critique is that I would have liked a bit more seasoning and flavor on the steak itself.
What I was really excited for was the Cacio e Pepe Truffle, which is prepared tableside. Unfortunately, because of my shellfish allergy, I could not order it. Our server checked directly with the chef and confirmed that the pasta is cooked in the same water used for lobster. While I was definitely disappointed, I appreciated the transparency and attention to food safety. Safety first.
Overall, everything was good. The food, service, atmosphere, and marina views made for a very enjoyable lunch. The only thing I found myself wishing for was a side like mac and cheese to pair with the steak.
Petralunga feels like a hidden gem. Between the waterfront setting, attentive staff, and strong value during their weekend special, I would absolutely recommend it and would happily return the next time I am in Miami.
visited with high expectations but disappointed. food is not bad but also not impressive, it's good in a conventional way. pasta is great although pizza dough is pretty dry. branzino portion is pretty small considering the price. tiramisu is creative. overall very good environment and service, food could be better.
First time here, the food was delicious. We ordered the caccio e peppe and the fruti di mare! Both pastas were amazing. Everything felt and tasted super fresh and the attention was great.
For dessert we had the tiramisu made table side. DELICIOUS!
Sofia was our server and she was super attentive and helpful!
Liu was absolutely amazing
Her hospitality and service was top tier, she made us feel like we were part of the restaurant family. I love that the restaurant allows time between each plate to let your food rest before devouring the next delicious plate.
We got the Greek salad, linguine ale vongole, brusklyn, tiramisu and we got the margarita spritz and a raspberry fields forever. Everything was a 10 out of 10.
Petralunga restaurant was amazingly nice. From the fun decor to the outside patio along with the superb services from the staff! Everything was perfectly grand. I attended the restaurant for lunch and BOY! Was it a great time! Everything was 50% off including entrees and drinks up until 5pm! Krazy right! Definitely a great steal!
I ordered the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, with a Brusklyn - 12’ pizza that had, tomato sauce, pepperoni, stracciatella cheese, garlic oil, hot honey, basil, spinach and parmesan flakes! Mouth watering good! Thin crust just how I love it, and crazy flavors that just complimented the pizza so well! For dessert, I tried their famous table side Tiramisù. Sweet goodness is what I recalled! Hahaah! Ridiculously stupid GOOOD!
My waiter was awesome. Didn’t quite catch his name but he was a gentle soul! Very attentive and made sure I was comfortable and satisfied. The polite gentleman even fetched me a throw blanket for a more cozy feeling. As being by the waterfront it can be a little breezy. He was well mannered and very professional. Great guy on the team! If you are ever in Miami check out Petralunga Restaurant you will not be disappointed! Check em out!
