We were walking around La Jolla when my kids spotted Spiro’s Mediterranean Cuisine and wanted to try it out, and I’m really glad we did! First of all, everyone here was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was also really good — very flavorful and very fresh.
I tried the Steak Tacos, my daughter got the Fish and Chips, and my son got the Chicken Tenders and Fries. Everything came out delicious, and the portions were great too. It ended up being one of the highlights of our day in La Jolla. We’ll definitely be back!
I was walking by And my dog pulled me in tonight. I noticed how beautiful it was and very relaxing environment. so I ordered some food to go with the man behind the register was so kind very nice on helping me make my decision.I was waiting for my lamb and beef pita I saw how delicious the pastries looked and decided to go with the brownie. My order came out so fast and made hot and fresh the pita was amazing. The brownie was delicious. The atmosphere is so inviting indoor outdoor dining this place deserves more hype. The best Greek I’ve had in a long time the meat was so fresh. The pita was so soft 10 out of 10 recommend
This place is so beautiful inside with Mediterranean vibes. We tried the falafel sandwich and it had an amazing taste with the right amount of falafel, salad and hummus spread. I definitely recommend it for vegetarian options. The sodas were less than average and needs a total upgrade.
Local family owned. Excellent service ,food, location, pricing, service, background music, and atmosphere. Picked it randomly while escootering during their brunch... extremely reasonable and fullfilling. Ordered the chillequilles and breakfast sandwich. Seriously...it was really good. Hope you have the same experience...or better.
The ambiance was the best part of this establishment.
It's self-serve, place your order at the counter & they hand you a number for you to wait at your table for them to bring you your order.
The food was mediocre, not authentic, not traditional, definitely catered towards the demographics in the area. The food was edible at least, but it lacked flavor. I came with a group of 5 and we all felt very disappointed.
I ordered Falafel, which is the picture I included and they are the smallest I falafel I have been served. No flavor to their sauces, I thought it was sour cream, there is not a hint of lemon zest, no olive oil, no hint of dill.
I do not recommend.
They have a large drink menu for a self-service establishment.
Outdoor patio is cute, but they only have 1 working fireplace so dress warm after sunset.
