My wife and I came here for her birthday dinner, and it was a great experience. Andy, our server, was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, engaging, and made us feel welcomed from the start. It really makes a difference when someone takes pride in what they do, especially when you’re out celebrating and willing to spend a little more than usual. He’s an absolute perfect example for all. The service, combined with the delicious dishes from the chef, made the night even more special. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We visited Talia Kitchen for date night after spending the day at Murrieta Hot Springs. Since the restaurant is located on the property, it was the perfect way to end a relaxing day. It was around 90°F outside, which was great for soaking in the hot springs, but a little too warm to enjoy dinner on the patio around 7 p.m. We chose to sit inside, which was cozy and had a great atmosphere for date night, although it can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is busy. If you prefer a quieter dining experience, I’d recommend sitting outside when the weather is cooler. Also, be sure to make a reservation online, as they are reservation-only. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. The best part, though, was the food. We started with the Turkish Pride appetizer, made with caramelized fennel, roasted figs, feta cheese, whipped Marshall’s honey, and crispy pastry. The sweetness from the honey and figs paired perfectly with the slight bitterness of the side salad, while the flaky pastry added a delicious crunch. For dinner, we shared the roasted potato purée. I ordered the scallops, and my husband had the Braised Brandt Beef Prime Short Rib. Everything was outstanding, but the short rib was definitely the star of the meal. It was incredibly tender, full of flavor, and practically melted in your mouth. We’ve dined at many restaurants throughout the San Diego area, and while many of them are more expensive, the quality and flavor of the food here easily surpassed them. Talia Kitchen is an exceptional value, and I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a relaxing couples getaway, I also recommend spending the day at Murrieta Hot Springs before dinner. They offer discounts for local residents, with even bigger savings on weekdays or during later entry times. Being able to walk from the hot springs to Talia Kitchen makes for an easy, romantic, and memorable date.

Wow. Just wow. I’ve been to a lot of farm to table, health focused restaurants but this was another level. The attention to details, the deep flavors, and the experience given by the staff was top notch. The whipped ricotta with focaccia was unbelievable. Best appetizer I’ve ever had. Well done!

I can't find the words for how completely mind blown I was at this anniversary dinner. From the cocktail/non alcoholic drinks and dessert selection that's truly unmatched. Every dish came out so beautifully presented with edible and delicious garnish. We almost never order dessert and yet I ordered 3!! Took one home. And lastly but certainly not least.. Andy what a guy!! He broke down every ingredient on a busy night so quickly and smoothly and made sure to accommodate all the things he could for our picky tastes. He was kind funny and extremely attentive whilst handling quite a bit. I was delighted to have the opportunity and pleasure of tipping him a bit extra. I cannot wait to return as the entire staff were amazing from host to table assistants. I will be bringing friends. Thanks so much Talia staff for the signed anniversary card and top notch service. Thanks also to the chef and back of house that despite being busy made every single detail of every dish amazing. 💕

Our Wedding anniversary dinner was absolutely fantastic. We received non alcoholic celebration beverages on the house. Our meals were just divine, every dish was beautiful and delicious. Our server Casara was so nice and informed on the ingredients. I definitely recommend and will be back.
