A French Polynesian-style restaurant located in Narragansett, Rhode Island, where Chef Momo Camara is currently the chef. It is part of the Surf Shack Bed & Breakfast.
We were on our way to Carmel and stopped to charge our electric car, not expecting to find anything memorable but right next door was The Kitchen at The Mission, and what a hidden gem it turned out to be.
The setting is absolutely beautiful. It’s in a lovely location that feels like a peaceful escape, even if you’re just passing through.
The food was amazing every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. What started as a quick charging stop turned into one of the highlights of our trip.
Highly recommend stopping here, especially if you’re charging nearby. You won’t regret it!
I heard many comments about their tomahawk steak. I decided to buy it. $140 plate. I asked for medium rare. After 30 min i end up with very well done. They did offer to redo it,but I was not about to wait another 30 min. After paying $220+ for two people they did offer to give me a $10 dessert. The atmosphere is nice as you have a chance to sit at the garden. Overall disappointed

A must-stop travel lunch spot! This was my second visit to The Kitchen at the Mission, and it never fails to impress. The atmosphere is charming, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the service is consistently warm. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. It’s officially become a tradition for me!

A pleasant little surprise on a northward drive to Sacramento. The hotel and restaurant were fairly quiet on a Tuesday in December. Very warm environment with a lovely server who took our order promptly and was very responsive to our requests. We both had tasty salads. I added Salmon and Avocado to mine. The Salmon was a bit dry but tasty. Very clean restrooms as well.

Had Father’s Day brunch buffet at the MDO. Huge props to the chef Morgan!! Tri-tip, brisket, chicken, ribs, scalloped potatoes, brussels sprouts, chile beans were all off the hook (you killed it Morgan)!
Our server was excellent, always there when we needed her. I love this place, it’s awesome!!
