We have eaten here every time we are in town staying at Hotel Hartness. Always top notch service and excellent menu. This most recent time we were there, we made a special request that was not even on the menu, the chef was excited to create something unique and did not fail to impress. Seared scallops and caviar, absolutely excellent! Thank you chef, we did not get to tell you in person that night. We will definitely visit again!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Hotel Hartness at the restaurant Patterson. The environment was inviting and well done, and the service was attentive and professional. We started with the pimento cheese with bacon jam and rye crackers, which was excellent. My wife ordered the salmon, and I had the pappardelle bolognese — both dishes were very well prepared and full of flavor. Overall, great atmosphere, good service, and quality food. We would definitely return.
There’s no restaurant more beautiful in the upstate. Wonderful staff and service. Beautifully plated dishes and incredible cocktails. Everyone here is determined to make your experience magical. The perfect date night or group outing spot.
We’ve experienced some of their special events and enjoyed every bite. Major kudos to the bar staff for their inventive cocktailing.

The décor is beautiful — elegant yet inviting — and the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy. The food was good, and I truly appreciated the complimentary birthday dessert. That thoughtful touch made the celebration even sweeter.
