Absolutely outstanding hotel that made our trip to Porto truly special. Everything was perfect — the room, the food, the service, the atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtful and luxurious.
We would especially like to thank the management team for their exceptional kindness and hospitality. Unfortunately, we missed our flight to Porto and arrived one day later than planned. Instead of charging us for the no-show night, the hotel generously allowed us to stay one extra night as a gift. This was incredibly appreciated and really touched us.
We also had dinner at the gastronomic restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. During our stay we celebrated my husband’s 50th anniversary, and the hotel made it so special — with wonderful attention, a beautiful cake, sparkling wine, and truly warm hospitality.
The level of care and professionalism here is exceptional. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.
Easily one of the most exquisite hotels I’ve ever experienced. We visited for a wedding and stayed just two nights—though it deserved much more time. The views, especially from our private patio, were breathtaking and unforgettable. Every detail, from the room to the overall design of the hotel, reflected such elegance and character. The bed was incredibly comfortable and generously sized (possibly a California King). The staff was gracious and attentive, and the spa was a perfect addition to the experience. Wish we'd tried their two-Michelin-star restaurant but I believe the same chef prepared the wedding's 7-course meal which was delicious!
To start with the people… they are the reason that this hotel feels so special. They are professional, knowledgeable, helpfull and warm. Not to speak of some of the guests that don’t seem to appreciate it, but the staff don’t seem to be deterred by that. The gastronomy was impressive with the ** Michelin restaurant as part of the hotel. We enjoyed an evening filling experience with views over the city skyline. Our room was made two times a day, which have that fresh room feel every time. Fitting music and parfume in the corridors made the walk to your room special everytime.
I know the work that goes into keeping up a big luxury hotel like this, but you cant fault it, from the paint to the carpets. We will come back very soon.
Arrived from Hong Kong to enjoy the bar and the view, walked a mile to reach the property just to be stopped at the door rudely and cheekily saying the bar was closed for private event. Dispite calling 2 times without an answer and checking social media for opening hours in advance. Please update street signs and social media real time to avoid such disappointments, and please do not ask me to close the gate behind me, that was a bit insulting from the gentleman wearing a bowl hat.
I would like to thank the team for the beautiful afternoon tea experience. It was truly delicious and wonderfully presented.
A special mention to Katherina (I hope I am spelling her name correctly), who guided me through a lovely journey of teas with such kindness, attention and warmth. I truly appreciated her hospitality.
The afternoon tea, created by Chef Ricardo Costa and his kitchen team, was included in my spa experience and completely delighted my palate.
It was the perfect ending to a magical day that I will not forget.
