The Sardine Factory

We loved it! As a seafood lover I was in my happy place as there was so much to choose from! The meh bits for us all were the alcohol free/ cocktails. Nothing special. But the food definitely was! Standout dishes were the FRESHEST and juiciest oysters, the sardines were rich in taste, cod roe popped as expected, the octopus texture was just right and a very filling, flavoursome crab mac n cheese filled the table out. Price wasn't as bad I was expecting and a nice card for my birthday was a cute touch. A great start to our Cornish seafood journey!

This bright and beautiful restaurant is definitely a must try on your trip to Looe, the decor, staff and food are absolutely incredible. My partner and I came here for our second date night whilst on holiday and we did not regret it. Everyone was so welcoming and really knew their stuff when it came to the menu! Special shout out to Harri, who was our server and an absolute gem, making every interaction effortless and lovely✨ I tried oysters as a starter for the first time and they were absolutely incredible. As a seafood lover, I just couldn’t resist whilst we were in such a beautiful seaside town where all of the food is locally sourced✨ My partner had the fish taco which was succulent and crispy, the tortilla was both crisp and soft, amazing! We tried the Appletini cocktail which was also stunning, so beautifully crafted. I then had the Cornish crab linguine which was served with orzo that night and it was insane, the portion size was huge and really filling! My partner, who isn’t that crazy about seafood, ordered the stone bass fillet and it was stunning. Crisp skin with a beautiful glisten on the fillet, honestly to die for! We would highly recommend a visit to this wonderful establishment whilst you’re in Looe. Ask for Harri as a server, she’s a delight!✨

Every time we visit Cornwall we visit this restaurant. The food is fantastic, high quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The waiting staff are also extremely attentive, polite and friendly. The best part is unlike many establishments they don’t automatically add a service charge, which is how it should be and also the reason we are more inclined to tip since the presumption isn’t there.

Fabulous experience start to finish. Food was absolutely delicious, good portions and quality food. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff, would recommend.

This is one of our favourite restaurants- Ben and his team are always so welcoming and the food is fabulous. My parents drive down from London to come here as often as they can. We had a lovely week recently trying a few places all over cornwall and all said this was by far the best ! Worth the visit for sure.
