This is the only place with pizza out here. It started to rain, so we came inside to give it a shot. They wouldn't let us order appetizers, a first, and a second plate. They made us order all at once, which was very odd for a dining experience. The food was great, but the service was sub par. The waiter seemed irritated. Maybe he was having a bad day? Giving him the benefit of the doubt.
We were recommended to come here by our b&b host. The food was great and authentic, the prices were reasonable, the service was decent, and most of the other diners seemed to be Italian. The owner also offered us a free limoncello at the end of our meal which capped off a great dinner. It’s not easy to find authentic food for reasonable prices in Venice but you can find it here!
This place was recommended to us by a Venetian friend, and it definitely didn’t feel like a tourist trap.
The lasagna was probably the best I’ve ever had. The pizza was excellent too, and the bread was honestly amazing.
The only weak point was the service. They didn’t give us a table inside because we didn’t have a reservation, which was understandable, but it could’ve been communicated more politely. We also had to wait quite a long time just to pay the bill.
Food gets full marks. Service could be better.
Fantastic food and service. Very friendly and welcoming even though we speak very poor Italian. We had the pizza which was delicious. All the other meals we saw going out to tables also looked great.
My son and I went to this restaurant. The food was not bad, and I thought the service was decent too, but……
When I got home, I saw a glass of wine on the receipt that I didn’t order and certainly didn’t drink!
I left a tip of almost 10% and thanked them.
This is very unpleasant and poor customer service!
And I think this wasn’t an accident (
Be sure to check your receipts when paying at this restaurant!!!
It’s a small amount of money, but it’s so wrong to do this!
