After venturing up to this vista and exploring the castle, we found this place right at the top. Noticing the 2026 Michelin guide sign, we tried our luck for an en prompts reservation. Delighted that they could squeeze us in, we were seated on the outside terrace; what a superb location.
The service was good, and the recommendations were fantastic. Highly recommend the butter for the bread when it arrives. The local white wine was delicious and also worked well with the veal.

Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The seafood pasta was outstanding, the homemade pasta was perfectly cooked, and even the bread and butter were exceptional. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, with great recommendations throughout the evening.

Very classy restaurant with good food and professional service. We had a very positive experience here, everything was great.
The servizio aqua (5€/couple) + copperto (7€/person) was pricy but included: fresh homemade bread with fluffy homemade butter (texture like whipped cream), a glass of komboucha, toast with tonno cream and still and sparkling water that was refilled every time it was emptied.
The menu is quite varied and all the dishes looked spectacular and tasty. The pastas was great!
We had a lovely time. The service is very good. The food also exquisite. We ordered beef tartare with kimchi, grilled octopus with chich pee paste, risotto with goat cheese with beet cream. We loved them.
Stopped at Baretto twice - once for a beer, another time for an aperitivo. The location is quite busy due to nearby funicular car and one of the main tourist paths, but the drinks and snacks were very enjoyable and reasonably priced. I am pretty sure that the restaurant is good, too.
