BOSA Food & Drink

The focaccia is divine. It was fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside with a gorgeous presentation; possibly the best we've ever tasted. The service was attentive and friendly without being disruptive. We were surprised and delighted with the seafood special and highly recommend the halibut. The flat iron steak and meatballs were fine, but nothing noteworthy or anything we'd order again. Their accompaniments- the pommes frites and tomato gravy - were both amazing, well balanced and hitting all the right flavor notes. Overall, one of our favorite dining experiences in Bend and we'll definitely be back to see what dishes match up in quality to the halibut and focaccia! I'm recovering from surgery - so no alcohol and both the Linda and Super Tuscan Sodas were fabulous treats!

Do you remember the first time you saw the usual suspects and at the end it’s like BAM. KEVIN SPACEY IS KEYSER SOZE. That’s kinda how I felt the first time I ate at Bosa. It’s a restaurant that has a lot of hype. You sit down, it’s busy, the staff is wonderful and then BAM. You try that first bit of food. And you’re like omg.. Kevin spacey did it again.

If you like excellent Italian food, you don’t have any other option you must go to Bosa. We have had Italian food all over the world, and aside from the motherland, this is about as close as you will get. And if the food weren’t enough to draw you in, the service and ambience should be. This restaurant isn’t huge, but it is quaint, imperfectly intimate. We made a reservation, but saw several people waiting outside. I would say it is absolutely worth the wait, but don’t chance it just make the reservation. After our meal, we learned that our waitress, Sophia, was apparently newer to the restaurant; but I have to say, apparently, because you would never know. She was kind, knowledgeable, and prompt without making us feel rushed to leave. I would go back for the service alone. Now let’s get to what you really want to hear about: the food. You won’t have a bad bite here. We ordered roughly a3 of the menu, and you absolutely can’t go wrong. The calamari was succulent and a fresh take; The focaccia we ended up getting three orders of, you absolutely must order the focaccia when you are there; every single handmade pasta is worth it. We ordered maybe five pastas and every bite was my favorite; they had some of the best broccolini I’ve ever had; and we ordered the entire dessert menu, and you will not go wrong getting any one of those. If you want quality, handmade and delicious Italian food in the United States, you gotta go to Bosa, I don’t know how else to say it.

Absolutely incredible!!!!!!! Seriously, this is a must try restaurant if you love Italian food! If you go, make a reservation ahead of time because they are busy due to their food being so good. My wife and I waited maybe 10 minutes and got a seat at the bar. Bar tender was incredible! She made fantastic drinks and had great advice and recommendations. The bread dish, snail dish, and pasta dishes were fantastic! Dessert was amazing too! We will be back for more when we visit or move out to Oregon!
