Brewers Fayre was a chain of family-friendly pub restaurants in the UK, known for offering a casual dining experience with a varied menu.
Customer Perception
Customers generally found the food to be of a good standard and the staff friendly and accommodating. Some reviews mentioned specific staff members providing excellent service. However, one review noted issues with seating arrangements and a lack of attention after food was served, as well as cleanliness concerns.
Likely busiest during peak meal times, such as lunch and dinner, and potentially on weekends. Breakfast buffets were also highlighted as a positive experience.

Three stars at a push... Despite asking for a table away from children so I could answer some emails in the quiet, I was seated directly opposite a member of staff's children playing loudly at a table near the bar. Great being able to take your children in to work while on shift I guess.
I chose the Kickin' Korean Chicken Burger, which despite being very tasty looked a little lonely on the plate without any salad, coleslaw or garnish. Is this the normal at Brewers Fayre 🤔
After my meal had been served, nobody came to ask if my meal was ok until I had finished. I consider this a basic in the Hospitality Trade!
Hopefully at some stage in the near future the staff might get around to cleaning the cutlery holder and the salt and pepper cellar which had food stains on them.
I recently visited Brewers Fayre and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
What really stood out, though, was the service provided by Nicky. From the moment we arrived, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel valued as customers. She checked in at just the right times without being intrusive, and her positive attitude added a personal touch to the whole visit.
The food was good, but it was Nicky’s excellent service that made the experience memorable. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and goes the extra mile to ensure guests have a great time.
I’d definitely return, and I hope to be served by Nicky again in the future.
A very good Brewers Fayre. Good selections of food, all being to a good standard. The staff are friendly and will accommodate reasonable requests and after the hotel did not book our requested time slot in, unknowingly to us, they squeezed us in. Good atmosphere.
It's really sad to see Brewers Fayre in Bicester closing down. We've enjoyed many meals here over the years, and the Sunday carvery was always a particular favourite. The food was consistently good, with plenty of choice and great value for money.
The staff were always welcoming, friendly and worked hard to create a pleasant atmosphere. It's a real shame to lose a family-friendly local venue that so many people have enjoyed. Thank you to the team for all their hard work over the years, and best wishes for the future.
We ate here the two nights we stayed over the road at the Premier Inn. The food was as good as a Brewers Fayre gets, and I've eaten in a lot on my travels. My rump steak on the second night was trimmed to perfection, cooked as I wanted, and please tell the chef the best steak from a Brewers Fayre in the country. Great staff with a bit of crack and banter. Super helpful as I had a 40% off voucher, so they explained all that. A nice location brand new and shops in walking distance close by.
