Diego Vitagliano Pizzeria - Santa Lucia

It was our 3rd time eating at this pizzeria. I have been to many pizzerias in Naples and other cities around, famous, well-known and award-winning places. I can honestly say that Diego's is my favourite so far! The pizza base is constantly of great quality, never too heavy to eat. The ingredients and flavour combos are tasty. We are not the kind of people to order only Margarita pizza, instead we like to try new and interesting flavours wherever we go and Diego's never disappoints. The service is always lovely and attentive. The restaurant is clean and elegant. I just want to say thank you for the constant great service and delicious pizzas!

Really amazing restaurant. If you want to experience true Italian dinner in Naples, Diego is the place to go. I love the restaurants where you don't have 1 million choices for food, I prefer Diego style, where you have one page menu. I believe everything from it is amazing even though we did had only 2 dishes. We had a raw crudo starter which was absolutely delicious and we shared a plate from the photo which right now I can't remember the exact name in Italian, but it was to die for. We had a bottle of white wine from Avelino and it complimented our dinner to perfection. The last, but not the least, the service from Rosario and Luigi made our night as they were super attentive and absolutely fun. You will see us again guys.

Beautiful pizzas, nice place! We went in September 2025. Had to wait 20-30 mins for a table. There was no physical menu, you scan a QR code. We had 3 different translations of the dishes which made it a little bit confusing discussing what to order as tourists. A bottle of wine started around €22 and went up from there, which is a bit more expensive than most places we've eaten. Had a rocket salad with buffalo mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes. The cheese was tasty (but a bit rubbery), the tomatoes were excellent, the salad was underwhelming. We also had suppli which were delicious, I definitely recommend them. We each had a pizza, and they were all very high quality and looked so good!

this was one of the best pizzas i’ve ever had! the dough is super tasty, crusty on the outside and soft inside, and the flavors are amazing, with super high-quality ingredients. the wine selection is also great, we ordered a local wine with vesuvian grapes and it was the best i’ve ever had - you can truly sense the fruity notes (something that i rarely do for real). the service was average and the atmosphere as well, but the pizza and wine are worth it.

Had dinner here on our first night arriving to Naples. It was highly recommended by our host. Pizza was really tasty; it is not the typical Napolitano style pizza ( this one thicker)... food was quick in coming to the table and large portions. Little chat service from waiters and a small (10%)/person service surcharge. Will return when in the area.
