we had a wonderful evening at Fiola. we ordered the hawaiian crudo and half dozen oysters for the starter. and ordered the whole branzino for our main course. the food was really good. the starters were wonderful but the branzino flesh was not as flaky as you might expect if it were fresh. it tasted good. it could use improvement where the skin could be crispy and the flesh more flaky. our waitress was awesome and very friendly. she had some great recommendations and was very attentive
came here for lunch after river boat tour. we had an amazing experience. the food was top notch and extremely flavorful from croissants to desserts. the portions are small but still filling. the ceasar salad is uniquely made and quite saucy. i absolutely recommend their lobster pasta special. everything was very presentable and the service was spectacular. we went during a slower time which made the experience outside even better. in the end the host brought us complimentary orange liqueur to go with our dessert. we ordered the tiramisu which melts in your mouth and the chocolate gelato. we will be back!

This is truly a five star restaurant. Walking through the door, you are met with the class expected from the crew on a high end cruise ship. Professionalism defines the vibe of our server, Prady. He delineated each menu item requested and made suggestions for the both of us based on our reactions. Conversation was cordial, welcoming, and friendly. I felt like I could keep talking with him as a friend. He made some good suggestions as to our next adventure in the area as well.
The food was spectacular; decadent. Every bite was anticipated and full of flavor. The flavors mixed well, and the three course brunch was complimented by a cocktail for me (a mocktail for my pregnant wife).
There was a lady who was responsible for filling waters and she did a great job, too!
I would give 6/5 stars if it were possible.

Five star especially the service!
I came here for an upscale dining experience while in DC for business and I was not disappointed.
I was a party of one but they still made me feel like a special guest. I had so many people serving me and they were all superb.
They generously gave me a special fish appetizer while I waited for my pasta because my entrée was going to take a while. It was like sashimi and was delicious.
The spaghetti I got was the only slight disappointment. Great flavor but a little light on the protein. Still very delicious.
I had their "kisses" dessert and it was incredible but very rich.
Make sure you talk to Gary the sommelier who is a very fun person to talk to and a true wine enthusiast. I was so impressed with the wine offerings at this restaurant! I would definitely dine here again.

I was there when they were offering their special lobster ravioli. And for dessert, I had an affogato. The chef also threw in a little treat beforehand. By far, the best Italian restaurant in DC. If Obama had to become president to come here, I didn’t.
