Based on a 4 star average, we had high hopes. We wanted a great Arabic lunch after a visit to Jerusalem. The place was empty, oddly.
The owner was very nice, if a tad uninterested.
We waited a long time for the food. We got a watery, mediocre Masabakha humus that we did not even finish. French fries were 60% oil, as was the "country-side shawarma". The kebabs were weird, and the "pargit" chicken skewers felt old, and not sufficiently cooked.
We both left the restaurant feeling a bit nauseous, and with 75₪ per person, it was an extremely expensive nausea too.
Great service, the hummus was light and tasty. The chopped salad tasted as though it wasn’t made fresh and lacked seasoning. Was comprised of only cucumber and tomatoes. Initially the dishes served were dirty but were replaced on request. Would suggest that they add full cutlery when serving and also make sure there are napkins. The bathroom also didn’t have hand towels.

I got why I came for. Very thick, soft and warm pita bread, nice creamy tasty hummus and the most amazing msabcha.

The food wasn't tasty; they tried to charge me more, and suddenly at the time of the payment the credit card machine didn't work. The waitress should warm me before starting the meal. My luck was that I had enough cash with me that day.

Great salads (fresh, tasty), very good humus and falafel. All meat portions are delicious. Stuffed chicken is especially good (come on Friday). Great service. Have been here before, come back and will come again.
