Absolutely superb experience from start to finish. The decor is stunning, and the dark and moody ambience makes it a relaxed experience. Service was very attentive and professional. As for the food, it was epic! The lamb tartare was a strong opening, highly recommended. The patties are a must try, they were all great but the oxtail and crab ones were the best. As for the mains, I really enjoyed both the chargrilled octopus and the roast pumpkin gnocchi, both were outstanding. The bbq greens were a formidable side, bursting with both heat and flavor. Cocktails were creative, well balanced and beautifully presented. Highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to in 2026. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary that we loved our server. Sydney was awesome. Customer service around the board was great. I love the staff. The food was to die for. We had the fried snapper the sirloin steak and sharp grilled octopus. Definitely recommendation out of 10 that Isla Daq was so good and beautiful.

Came for dinner, no occasion, and had a great experience. Nate was our server and he was both hospitable and personable. Chef came by and spoke many times and asked if we had any questions. Food was flavorful and timed well for us to enjoy our bottle of wine.

Exceptional Experience! We were in FANTASTIC hands with Nathan for our entire dining experience. Everything he recommended exceeded our expectations – he’s a must when I return! The food, playlist, ambience, and staff were all 1000%/100%. The absolute best part was meeting the owner and executive chef, Lonnie Murdoch. She’s such a beautiful soul! Get to ISLA DC! Not pictured but certainly recommend is the scallion bread, snapper crisp and crab patties. The fried snapper…..😋

This is a beautiful restaurant. Perfect for date night, girls night and classy groups. The dress is primarily chic. We weren't very hungry so we decided to try a few items. We started with the avocado and cucumber salad. It had a superb island flavor to it. We also had the channa. It was pretty good. The bites with the tamarind pieces were fantastic, otherwise it is just ok. Since we are dairy-free and pescatarian, we went for the grilled branzino. It was enough for two. It was coveted in an olive oil and parsley blend. Very flavorful. We will be back!
