The decor and overall aesthetic is so cute!! We were instantly greeted and sat and the waitress was so very sweet and attentive. Their appetizers have a lot of variety which I greatly appreciate (highly recommend the lobster rangoon dip!) and their drink menu is also great. I had their creamy udon and it was the perfect amount of creamy and not too heavy! I will definitely be coming back to try more things ❤️

Who knew that the host popping out to say hello would turn into one of the best restaurants we’ve been to! The staff are wonderful! Caring, kind, and patient with our little ones. Fluffy white rice, fun kids popcorn chicken, the yummiest garlic steak bites, spicy beef noodle soup, and the signature ramen! Amazing food and we will be back every time we are in the area!

As an Asian, I don’t say this lightly, I haven’t had Asian food this authentic and well-executed in St. Louis since Menya Rui. Every dish was beautifully seasoned, incredibly fresh, and clearly made with care. And the volcano fried rice? Absolutely unforgettable. One bite and I knew it was something special. It had the perfect balance of flavor, heat, and texture, bold without overpowering, and I genuinely couldn’t stop thinking about it for weeks after. That alone is worth coming back for. What made the experience even better was the staff. The service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Everyone working there made us feel so comfortable, and you could tell they truly enjoy what they do. One of the staff members even came over to chat with us, he was hilarious and added such a fun, personal touch to the night. The decor and interior design were just as impressive as the food. The space is adorable, thoughtfully designed, and full of charm. It creates such a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. This place is officially my new favorite spot in STL, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know. If you’re even thinking about trying it, go. You won’t regret it.

Dropped in here for some ramen and was disappointed. The ramen broth was lukewarm, not hot. The egg was overdone and chalky texture and was cold as well - like it had just come out of a fridge. The pork slices were quite good and the hottest part of the bowl! The noodles themselves were crunchy in the middle (CRUNCHY, not chewy). I barely ate them. Broth flavor was good. The matcha tiramisu had good flavor but was still frozen in the middle with ice chips… clearly from the freezer and not fully defrosted. The interior is very very nice and the service was great. Maybe this place does other dishes well… but I won’t be back for the ramen.

Was passing through STL and decided to stop by Jinzen. My husband and I ordered the Black Pepper Garlic Steak Bites, the Spicy Miso Ramen, and the Volcano Fried Rice. Overall it was a fine meal, a bit underwhelming maybe. The appetizer was alright, nothing crazy. Same with the Spicy Miso; it doesn’t hold a candlelight to H-Mart. Something I saw with a few other reviews, and can agree with, is the room temperature on the food. The ramen and appetizer weren’t super warm. Overall it ended up being $70, which for what we got is kind of ridiculous. I will say the service was wonderful, the lady who took care of us was so kind.
