What a gem!!! Amazing French restaurant in the heart of Clayton. We started with the Tuna Crudo which was drenched in some fantastic lemon drizzle of some sort. I will have dreams about this one! Couple that with the Spring Garden Martini, and the night was off to a great start! I had the burger, which sounds basic but trust me there was nothing basic about it. Delicious!!! And I wasn't in the mood for French fries but.... Hold the door!!! These were the best fries I've ever tasted - double fried! The atmosphere is amazing - and the patio was so fun! Not to mention our server provided the best service! He was a true PRO. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
I’m French so of course I’m in love with this spot. I started at the bar because I needed to do a little work. The bartender was so nice and I later bought his book about STL. He even signed our books. Thanks Matt! What a gem. Two of my friends crashed the dinner. Bless them. We started with the oysters aka your daily vitamins. Then I got the salmon toast and the gnocchi. Everything I needed all 10 out of 10. Such a beautiful spot, so well done.
The restaurant had been on my list for a long time, and this weekend we finally managed to visit! We were absolutely enchanted! And for a moment, I felt like I was in a little bistro in Paris. The place is very beautiful and well-decorated, and the staff was very kind the entire time. I chose the fixed menu, and my husband opted to choose his own dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highlights for me were the raclette cheese crepe and the desserts! The waiter Jude was extremely attentive and helpful. We loved the experience and will definitely be back!
Update: so sad to see this place closing soon. Went one last time and was fantastic as always!!! Bistro La Florasion will be sorely missed. Highlights included the scallop dish and the iconic Tour de France.
Truly a hidden gem in Clayton! I absolutely love everything I’ve ever had at here. My husband raves about the mussels to everyone he knows. We also love the selection of gnocchi, oysters and olives. My only slight complaint is the restaurant itself and the space between tables is tight. If tables being close together makes you uncomfortable, this may not be the place for you. But the service & food never disappoints!
Hands down the best birthday dinner I have ever had. I am not from Saint Louis, and had a very hard time finding a French cuisine restaurant that ticked all the boxes for food, atmosphere, service. It was absolutely wonderful.
Their cocktail Menus ! Finally a place that really had a refreshing cocktails with color, texture and aroma ! Fabulous
The servers where so sweet, the environment was light calm and intimate. Their plating was beautiful the dishes made you smile.
I could not stop saying YUM throughout the entire meal. The meat MELTED. My dish tasted like a cool summer day in a beautiful garden. So delicious !
They surprised me with a dairy free frozen treat with dark chocolate chips and a candle. Thank you for that I was so surprised and it was lovely.
Our server Emily, thank you for making my birthday very delightful. And thank you to the very tall server sorry I didn’t not catch your name but offering to take a photo of me and my partner - the photo was perfect!
Thank you, I plan to continue return and will try your other restaurants.
