My parents are big on eating at buffets.
So for celebrating valentines day and lunar new year they want to eat at buffet.
I told my husband let’s look other buffet (usually we went the one that is in Bethlehem pike) and try something new and he came up with Jumbo Seafood.
We even watched YouTube video that someone uploaded few months ago sharing their experienced eating in here.
From that video we aware that have to pay first before we eat, definitely different that the one place that we usually visit.
The cost for weekend/ holiday is slightly more than on the weekday.
The price is not included beverages but once you pay for it is free refill.
There was a note on the napkins holder at every table it said “limit seating for eat is 2 hours” lol I don’t think I would be able to seating more than that but ok, apparently probably there’s people that might’ve stayed longer.
The place is huge, they do have lots food to offer. Also they have hibachi which me and my mom always go to.
The proteins for hibachi also had more options compare other buffet, we just didn’t really eat all those.
I love raw oyster, and this place has raw oysters and raw clams (which I don’t like raw clams) but the oysters that I had seems had different taste, I don’t why that is, In my mind I was hoping that oysters is good quality and fresh. As long as I don’t get food poisoning I prayed which thank God I didn’t feel sick afterwards.
The desserts options I didn’t really thrilled about it, the super thin sliced cakes and square cakes, I didn’t really like it.
They do have ice cream and cherry with other fruits options.
Overall was good, worker that constantly come taking away our empty plates, refil the drinks also friendly.
It was terrific and there is also a bowling across but the food so delicious flaverful and filling five star review it’s just so delicious and I love the food and it’s flavour
It was an average buffet. I loved the sashimi, but most of the sushi rolls did NOT taste good. All the other hot foods are also decent. I came here on a Sunday night, which is when prices are higher than usual. Paid 30$ per person, ended up being 150$ (w/ tip + tax). Was the experience worth 30 something dollars? Not really.
Amazing Friday Night Experience at Jumbo Seafood Buffet!
My family and I arrived at Jumbo Seafood Buffet about an hour before closing on a Friday night, and I have to say — we were extremely impressed! Despite the late hour, the managers Jian and May, along with the rest of the staff, treated us with the utmost respect and hospitality. They never made us feel rushed and kept the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed.
There was a wide variety of food to choose from — everything from fresh seafood to savory meats and a delicious selection of desserts. We each spent about $30 per person, and it was worth every penny! I especially have to highlight the baked crabmeat — it was absolutely my favorite dish of the night.
Another thing I really appreciated was how diligently the employees were cleaning the restaurant, even as we dined. It showed how much they care about maintaining a clean and pleasant environment, and that attention to detail easily earns a five-star rating from me.
If you're looking for a place that can satisfy everyone's appetite with quality food and great service, I highly recommend Jumbo Seafood Buffet. We will definitely be back!
As of right now, I believe it’s the best buffet in Philadelphia. Best place for your buck. For $16 only you can eat all you want and dessert, service, habichi included. Amazing!!!! Been here twice in just a week.
