Royal Buffet Sushi & Hibachi is a large buffet-style restaurant offering over 200 different items across Chinese, Japanese, and American cuisines. It features a sushi bar and hibachi grill options. A notable aspect of their service is the policy of paying for your meal upfront upon entry.
Customer perception is mixed. Many appreciate the wide variety of food, the fresh sushi selection, and the fast, efficient service. Specific dishes like chicken sticks, cheesy crab, butter shrimp, fried rice, and banana pudding receive positive mentions. The establishment is often described as clean with attentive staff. However, significant negative feedback exists regarding the overall quality of some buffet items, with complaints about food being unappetizing, discolored, or poorly prepared (e.g., hard rice, rotten fruit, coagulated sauces). Some customers also found the strong smell of cleaning products (Pine-Sol) off-putting and disliked the upfront payment policy.

Smells like bleach and lysol when you walk in. The food looks to have been re heated from the night before. They serve you plastic silverware. None of the desserts are edible. When this place opened, none of this was an issue. I dont know why they went downhill so much. Some of the food just look like its the lowest possible quality you can use, and it tastes exactly how it looks.
The service is very fast and efficient. Most of the food is very very good, everything is at the very least edible. I really enjoy their Chicken Sticks and the Sushi Selection. The Oyster Sauce used on the clams is very good. They also have a very good and fresh fruit selection. It is worth every penny.
We went there yesterday and we were very hungry it was three of us we got there mainly for the sushi but their sushi’s weren’t only little it wasn’t FRESH it looked so unsafe to eat I’ll definitely be reporting this place. I took one sushi and ate and I couldn’t continue eating. We thought we would stay and eat but we left in less than half an hour it was very frustrating to come pay and leave hungry. I tried to at least eat their pizza but as I sat and looked at it I couldn’t bring myself try a bite. I felt like this place was a health hazard.

UPDATE:
Went there today and was disappointed. We anticipated the opening of this restaurant for so long:
PROS:
- Service is very friendly. The hosts smile as you walk in and properly greet you immediately. Servers are fast with refills and clearing tables.
- The restaurant looked clean.
CONS:
- The food is not even lukewarm. It is COLD. Please turn the food heaters up if possible.
- The quality is lacking. The food tastes very bland.
- Not suitable for those with allergies or vegans. Most buffets I've been to wont put EGG in the fried rice. Also, there was not enough options of cooked vegetables. Mixed vegetables in white sauce would be a nice addition or some eggplant as I've seen elsewhere. There was also no vegetable sushi that I saw.
- My partner did not enjoy his food and even had to spit some out. This is a first.🙈
- The lighting is a bit too "bright" in there. Not sure if it's the hue or the lightbulb but perhaps dimmer lights would help.
I really wanted to like this place, but I'm sorry to say that this is the worst buffet I've been to. Perhaps the owners will read this and see some ways they may improve as I realize this place is still fairly new.

Been waiting for this place to open. Came to check out this place today with my roommate. We got a 10% off coupon in the mail. Planning to return this month to try the food. Wonderful addition to this area.
I understand that I can not expect much from an affordable Asian buffet. I mindlessly trusted the star rating on Google, 3.8. It is a little higher than Ruby Buffet. I didn't have a good experience here before, but I believed the star rating, which betrayed me.
All plates and cups are made out of styrofoam, which is highly unsafe for hot foods. Utnesils are plastic. I got shocked. Everything here was against the environment, and the owner didn't mind it, just like Chinese people usually do in mainland China.
Except for hibachi, which I didn't try, every food seems to be cooked or defrosted in the microwave. I've seen horrible Asian restaurants, but this is one of the worst ones. Food still had the scent of freezers.
Although it advertises as a sushi buffet, there is no authentic sushi with actual fish. As you will see from my photos, even a built egg is in the role. Gosh, it was unbelievable. Frid rice was extraordinarily salty and had the smell of a freezer. Even deserts too.
I do not recommend this buffet at all. The only reason I give one star is because it is the lowest rate I can give and also because the owner’s young son, who seems to be an elementary school student helping his parents.
I will never go to this restaurant again. I'd rather drive 30 minutes to go to Ruby Buffet if I want to go to a sushi buffet.
