For starters, the atmosphere is perfect and the service is incredible. Front the bar to the table the service has been great. The drinks are amazing but the food is excellent. Everything on the menu is worth the visit. Our server David is phenomenal and definitely knows the menu and he’s hilarious, Definitely great hospitality. In all, great experience if you’re in the area definitely check them out!!
We had a party of 8 and we were accommodated very well. There was a little bit of a wait but it was well worth it. I truly enjoyed the food and our waiter, Michael. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the menu as well as what foods compliments each other.
So, so, so good—let me tell you, this place is an absolute gem. I took a chance on it after leaving another restaurant disappointed, and La Jolla more than made up for it. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is upscale and inviting.
The staff are genuinely friendly and clearly happy to be there, which makes a huge difference. David at the bar deserves a special shoutout—he could sell me anything and I’d say yes. He was attentive, made excellent recommendations, and truly elevated the entire experience. Give that man a raise.
I loved it so much that I went back a second time during my short visit. If you’re looking for a delicious meal, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that still feels high-class, this is the spot. Make a reservation now—because that’s the only way you’re getting in. It’s packed for a reason. Order the lamb!
Waited about 5 minutes for a spot at the bar. Wife had the pork chop, I had the sirloin. Both were excellent. Enjoyed the bourbon selection. Heath bar brownie was delicious.
La Jolla was the treat we needed for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere was very personal and comfortable, the service was exceptional, and the food was delicious!!! We didn't make reservations and ended up sitting at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice! Lucas is an exceptional server and made the night! He provided great food and drink recommendations and even better service! Highly recommend!
