I had a very enjoyable evening at La Mercerie in Marseille. I chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing and overall it was a great experience. I sat at the bar, which was a nice touch because I could watch the kitchen in action and see all the energy behind the dishes. The food was delicious and clearly prepared with great care, and the wines in the pairing were interesting and thoughtfully selected. The sommelier explained each wine with the dishes, which I appreciated. The service was friendly, attentive and always happy to answer questions. Personally, if I return, I might choose a wine from the list instead of the pairing, simply as a matter of preference, but overall it was a lovely experience and definitely a place worth visiting in Marseille.
A surprise tasting menu with interesting ingredients, beautifully presented. Each dish is well balanced and complements each other, overall a very pleasant experience.

Exceptional meal from start to finish. The food was precise, beautifully balanced, and full of flavor without ever trying too hard. Every dish felt intentional, textured, danced on your tongue.
The wine pairings were spot on and genuinely elevated the meal rather than competing with it. Textures, seasoning, pacing - perfection!
The atmosphere is warm, calm, and understated, the music was millennial nostalgia:) which made the whole experience feel effortless rather than performative. I was dining alone and felt completely at ease.
Hands (and feet) down, the best meal I had in Marseille. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Incredible, high-quality 5-course fixed menu without the pretentiousness of similar restaurants. Watching the cooks display their mastery right in front of me was only the start of one of the best meals I've had in years.
I'll be dreaming of returning for quite a while!

We had lunch here and it was fantastic. Fresh ingredients, brilliant wine selection and wonderful friendly staff. We sat at the counter and watched the chefs get to work. I had the floating island with strawberry and raspberry and the most wonderful white asparagus crème anglaise which was so good it made me cry! ❤️
