La Pizza & La Pasta is located within Eataly NYC Downtown, celebrating two pillars of Italian culinary tradition: Neapolitan pizza and handcrafted pasta. It features wood-burning ovens for traditional pizzas and offers a casual, energetic atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its convenient location in the Financial District, making it suitable for both tourists and the local after-work crowd, with some window seating offering views of lower Manhattan.
Customer feedback highlights the good food, particularly the pasta and thin-crust pizza, and often praises the attentive service from the waitstaff. The atmosphere is generally described as casual and energetic, with a surprisingly moderate noise level despite its open-air layout. However, some customers have noted a lack of flexibility with menu changes and occasional unhelpful hosts. Requests for specific seating, like window tables, are not always honored. While the food is generally well-received, one review mentioned the pizza can be flimsy, requiring a fork and knife, and another found the salmon underwhelming.
La Pizza & La Pasta is part of the larger Eataly marketplace, allowing diners to explore Italian packaged foods and sweets on their way out. The restaurant is situated on the 3rd floor of the Westfield at WTC.
The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, making it convenient for lunch, early dinner, or a post-museum meal. It can be busy on nights and weekends.
