It's known for its intimate atmosphere, where tables are closely spaced, adding to the genuine French feel. We love Le Pichet! Best, and most authentic, French restaurant in Seattle. French to a fault.
If you have been to France then you will see immediately that this place has been magically transported to Seattle.
PROS: Delicious French food. Their pâté is incredible. Their version of French onion soup (Gratin Lyonnaise) is almost destination worthy. Lovely wines, cheeses, etc.
The service is perfect: Friendly, helpful, professional.
The restaurant is very small and you will likely be sitting inches from other tables but if you’ve been to French cafes then this will only add to the authenticity.
CONS: They add a 20% service charge but are coy about if any of it actually goes to the staff. Should I tip on top of that? No one knows. We tipped.
For some Americans, sitting so close to others might be off-putting.
For those not used to authentic French food, the menu and options may be confusing but that wait staff will help you.
