Awesome food and great service just near busy Edinburgh Castle. Well you will have to walk little bit but its a nice walk.
Ordered few items which were halal. They do halal items but not all of them are. Taste was very good. Highly recommended
My partner and I were in need of some comfort food after a long day's travel and Maki & Ramen's was just the thing! The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were very quick and attentive plus the food was great! I had the salmon sushi platter which was brill and my partner loved his Steak Ramen! Presentation was great and the flavour (particularly with the ramen) was great too. Brilliant option as an inexpensive Japanese food option!
We waited in the queue for this and I wouldn’t say it was worth it. Don’t get me wrong - it’s pretty good ramen but I was expecting Kanada-Ya / Bone Daddies level and I didn’t get it.
Full disclosure - I only tried the chicken one. The bread crust got soaked very fast and in general in my opinion panko chicken is not the best choice there.

In general still a very good place to eat but not worth queueing for in my opinion.
I ate at Maki Ramen and ordered the tonkotsu ramen. It had a rich, savory umami flavor, and the noodle texture was just perfect. Although the gyoza was a bit oily, it still tasted delicious overall.
