This place is interesting. It creates its own place in time. The lobby serves as a transition passage...to their own world. Tables are spacious, somehow even when the place was full it didn't feel crowded. The chairs are wide, sturdy, comfortable. The white tablecloth reflects perfectly the soft lighting. It's romantic but not overly romantic. The servers, yes in plural because you interact with more than one, are amazing at what they do. They don't rush you but help to keep you on track. They carefully cater to your needs in a timely manner. Every course comes in at the right moment, they transition your table from appetizers to meals and desserts in a way that is comfortable, no hesitation, no doubt. They know how to cater and that helps you relax.
The food. Excellent. Right temperature, creative presentation, good portions, flavorful. Their side dishes are shearing size. I have visited other places where food tastes the same from start to finish. Not this place. Every item has its own note. Something special, different. Overall, Excellent. The acoustic of the place makes it a bit loud on full house but not overpowering to the point you can't have a normal conversation.
I'll definitely revisit when in town.
Wonderful first time experience. Business lunch here was a treat. From the moment I entered into the restaurant, there was no doubt that it was going to be a great meal.
The Fried Brie and the Fried Calamari were probably some of the most enjoyable appetizers I’ve had in a long while. The Meehan’s Chopped Cobb Salad was plated well and had 5 oz of nicely cooked steak too.
All-in for our party of three for lunch was right around $160.
We went for Valentine's dinner and this place was everything we wanted and needed it to be. We love that we didn't have to drive to Dallas or Ft. Worth to have some fine dining. The appetizer was wonderful. The steak was excellent and the sides were nice shareable sizes. The dessert was a great way to end our experience there. We will definitely be back. We saw some other dishes we want to try.
First time here, & everything was amazing! Our waiter, Quon, was very knowledgeable, answered our questions, and made some great recommendations. The crab cakes were the best we had ever had, & all the food was cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back, & recommend Meehan’s to all of our family & friends!
Everything here is amazing! Service is always exceptional. My only "complaint" is that despite the restaurant being very gluten aware and keeping me safe, they have no gluten free bread/bun options to substitute. Highly recommend!
