Here's a fun fact: Frank Family makes an amazing sparkling wine. The Blanc de Blanc sparkling is this house's secret sauce that is winery visit exclusive. Highly recommended. We sat at the bar and squeezed in a tasting between tastings and we were glad we did. The gentleman behind the bar was very engaging and helpful. Glad we could get in this beutiful property. Thanks Frank!
We have been here twice now. Both times, our experience felt personalized and special. The staff really made us feel like more than tourists. Some great stories behind the wines. Not to mention, the wines themselves are incredible. To top it all off, it’s a lovely property right in the middle of some BEAUTIFUL views of the valley. If you’re looking for a smaller, more intimate wine tasting experience, this is worth the stop.
I stopped by Frank Family Vineyards for a solo wine tasting and had an incredible experience. I’ve visited before with friends and family, but this was my first time going on my own - and it did not disappoint.
Kevin Depina was a fantastic host, super welcoming and made the whole tasting feel relaxed and fun. He even recommended I swing by Rutherford Grill before my next stop and try the French dip, absolutely worth it. Perfect way to kick off the day.
Thanks again, Kevin!
The property, wine selection and insight from the Somolier's is always excellent. We visited on a rainy and cold day, still enjoyed. The experience takes about 90 minutes. The tasting fee is waived with a 2 bottle purchase per tasting.
We got the tasting free with our stay at Main Street Cottage. The winery is known for its reds but I loved the 2023 chardonnay. Alex who served the tasting was so knowledgeable. We found out about the good growing years, the best local soils to grow different varietals. It was fascinating. He recommended places to order door dash as there was no food available. Our tasting was outdoors as it was a lovely day. Food needed to be eaten at nearby picnic tables. No high pressure sales pitches. Offerings were available on paper list at table. Napa prices
