Schramsberg Vineyards

We loved the story and history of this beautiful place. From the drive up the driveway, set back off the road in the trees, it was beautiful! The real deal cave was so cool! It was fascinating to learn how the bottles are filled, stored, turned, corked, etc. You learn so much! Their sparklings are now one of my favorites. Our guide Tom was super!

AMAZING vineyard and wines (if you like sparkling wines). I didn't catch our tour guides name, unfortunately, but she was amazing- she had short blonde hair. Full of information and just overall great. This was our first time to this vineyard and I will definitely be back. All of the sparkling wines were DELICIOUS! Highly recommend visiting. Also, make reservations to ensure you get in. I think they require reservations.

First time visiting yesterday. We did the cave tour and tasting which was just so cool to see. The cave tour was light walking and me being short, didn't have any problems with the height but there are little corridors that may not be fun for people slightly taller... the tasting included 4 sparkling wines and 1 red with a pairing of cheeses, dried cherries and apricot to combine. Beautiful property and such friendly service. I think the shop was very reasonably priced too. I bought a bottle stopper for only $8 but they had other items too like stone coasters and logo items. Would recommend.

The Cave Tour was interesting the first 20 minutes. It did not however include any viewing of the pressing nor bottling processes. We stood in the cave for 45 minutes during the wine tasting. Chairs were not available to the group. My wife and I were uncomfortable standing on the cobblestone for almost an hour in total. Instead, there’s a nice classroom upstairs at the check-in area where others on tours were comfortably seated doing the 45 minute long taste testing. The taste testing included no crackers or cheese. Also, there are no bathrooms available on the cave tour. Not my favorite wine tour in Napa.
